If you drink Chamomile tea with real honey in it maybe an hour or so before bed, it really relaxes you and helps you fall asleep.
It sounds gay, but if you have a Bath and Body Works store near you, you can purchase this "pillow mist". There's this sleep mist that's Lavender Chamomile. I honestly stand behind it in saying it works. It kind of mindfucks you into feeling sleepy. Whenever I've used it, I always wake up feeling pretty good. It also somehow provokes pleasant dreams.
Otherwise, you can always use Nyquil to get a full night of sleep. I wouldn't take a full (recommended) cup, less than that so you can wake up alright.
Otherwise, using natural methods and going through the process of REM sleep is the best way to feel fully rested. Having dreams is a good example of having REM sleep.
