I'm blind from one eye and I was wondering if that is a disadvantage when it comes to drawing? I showed my friends my drawings and they were really surprissed that I learned to draw good so quickly and being blind from one eye.

No. All it alters is depth perception, which you don't need on a flat surface.

I'm just a dreamer.

I read that the Illustrator from Fist of the Northstar became blind from one eye, and that he needed his assistants to help him because of the perspective.

Your depth perception will be bad, but that shouldn't cause to many problems. A lot of people lack depth perception but are still able to drive etc. so you shouldn't have much to worry about.

If your used to it then there is nothing to worry about in the least,
some of the smartest or most brilliant or ground breaking people in human history had impairments that they had to over come and we will forever be better as a species because they did,

Maybe... your calling is 3d art... who knows

I don't own one yet lol, but I'm not Interested in 3D films/games. So even if i could see from both of my eyes I wouldn't mind them.At least I still have one left.

Well if you can already draw pretty good obviously it isn't.

Have you considered getting an eyepatch, cause that would make you look bad ass.

People are already scared of me because I wear a leather jacket and have long hair, but I always wanted to.

Have you gone to get it checked out?

Being blind out of one eye only affects your depth perception, which can make it a bit difficult to play sports. It also prevents you from watching 3D movies ever again.

When I first read that, I misread "drawing" as "driving".
