But Hugh Laurie is even older than Wade.

I think Wade would do a fine job, but I doubt that he'd ever give up his knives for a crowbar. Although, the fancy suit with the build in light may be of interest to him.

I will say it loud and clear. He is not getting the role, film directors look for profesional actors. Unless Wade becomes an actor and has at least 5 years acting, but good at acting, he might get the role.
