Help with Shading

Redid a image ive drawn previously, using illustrator pen tool, then photoshop to color using pen tool again to shape the shading. But, Im not good at hunting the proper source of light, which I tried to do as if the source of light is coming from his front - as if abotu to be hit by a motorcycle - as a example of the light lol.

his metal area, is supposed to be some what lifted, as its ontop of the skin, and I wanted to give it the look of popping up, not just flat, so thats why there is shading around its edges near the skin..I started confusing myself :)

but they see it as a art thread, not a help thread. and if my art doesnt interest somone, they wont bother to click, while if its titled as a help question, generally those with knowledge of the topic, click - and answer.

At this point, you could title a thread "hurglyblurgyturdydurgh" and we would think it's a help thread. Just make an art thread, people respond to them with criticism.
