The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Not only the first game I've ever played, but also the reason I play them today.

I can't recall any "hidden gems" which I really loved at first gameplay. In fact, I can't say I've played that many hidden gems to begin with.
But some games of which I remember that I really loved them straight from the beginning are Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Pokemon Red, Goldeneye 007 and Super Mario 64. I remember I played these games as much as I could for months on end.
