Please... no more dead flash animators.
I was upset when I heard of Randy's passing and even more upset at this news. I wish everyone would live well and take care of one another. This is truly one of the saddest moments in Newgrounds history.
We'll all miss you very much, Randy and Edd.

I actually luckily got the chance to talk to Edd once at a NG London meet last summer while in the back garden of the main karaoke pub NG tried to go to every year (sorry I don't remember the name of it, although those who know of the meets will know what I'm on about). Speaking to him, he was incredibly humble, casually reserved and down to earth, to the point that I had no idea who he was before he told me. I was actually surprised when I told him who I was on the forums that he had heard my name somewhere. He was definitely a great animator and it's a shame for him to pass on.
This too will pass.

What?! I had no idea he was ill at all. Oh my god. I really love his work and watched all of his new stuff when it came out.
Jesus. Wow. I'm absolutely shocked. His fans, the internet, and the animation/flash field itself truly has lost a great, respected, and talented artist. I'm going to miss him and remember him. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
Don't be afraid of failure.

Edd will be missed and never forgotten. He was one great creator. I saw creator because he brought his characters to us. Shared his ideas with us. I wish his family the best. We all know he is in a better place now. I take my hat of in respect of him.

I never did think he'd pass. We should all dedicate a day for him here on Newgrounds, when we'll all chug down a can of cola to honor the good 'ole edd. Rest in peace Edd.
So the man walks in the bar and asks for a burger...and the waiter said "This is a French Restoraunt Sir".
So the man said: "Then gimme french fries instead!" lol

This isn't pretty swell :'(
I Remembering seeing a couple of your first animations on here, but I started watching your videos start to finish on youtube pretty much as of last year. I even looked up why Tord wasn't in any of the newer videos! I was hoping to see you make it through this battle, hell we all were.
R.I.P Edd "sworld" Gould. You will be missed by many.

There's a local cancer walk in Lowell in May. My dad's walking for his father who's a cancer survivor, but I was thinking of signing up in memory of Edd. Getting donations towards the cause, I'm not sure how I'd do it yet, but it's something I really want to do.
Even though I'm not an animator, his work still pushed me to complete my films. He left a huge impact on me.

I always liked edd's animations ever since i saw them back when Tord was still with them I practically freaked every time one of his vids was in my sub box i mean edd was hilarious in his vids with Tom and Matt iv'e seen his animation voice acting and everything get better. When i herd he got cancer i flipped but he said he was going to pull through and when he started releasing videos i thought he was getting alot better...He just seemed like the person who was going to fight through it and live...I miss him even though as most of his fans i did not know him he seemed like a nice guy and a friendly man a guy that even if he hated you if you were sad he would help.I cried when i saw he died.He was funny and friendly and just an all around cool person from a perspective and as Tom and Matt said he was always wanting to keep with his fans and did his own thing you don't see much of that anymore i love all there work Wally Cube(Matt) Slomozo(Bing) Tomska (Tom) I always loved just seeing there vids they were funny i don't think it will ever be the same i wouldn't be surprised if they just quit the videos i mean Edd was just amazing as i said (sry for repeating so much) Edd has inspired me so much and only 3 People have ever really inspired me R.I.P. all 3 of them Ik his Legacy will live on in all of his animations videos voice and that his world will still spin on but it's just so sad to see how much talent he still had to give he had so much left to accomplish.R.I.P. Edd Gould you are forever in the heart of all your fans friends and family we will miss you.1988 - 2012.
