Did you not see my original reply...? In addition to being in the original post, I told you that the size requirement was 500x500 pixels. Also, in terms of your new piece, I feel like the theme of the face was added on as an afterthought, and you just wanted to draw your robo-prisoner. Can you make something that more embodies the theme of the collab and face, and follow the prerequisites please? Thanks!

Yeah that white is trouble some, but for some reason I can't get it to vanish, one of the downsides of .gif amIright?
It knew the actual background of the flash, I could set it against that and not bother with the flawed .gif transparency

AS for the simplicity of it I mostly went that way for the animation. But I guess I could even go farther with it somehow.

I think the big issue with it is that it's not interesting at all. It's just a bigger version of the emoticon in a slightly different angle, with a couple of tweens, which is kind of a boring interpretation of the collab.

If you look at Zane's or Lintire's pictures you can see that other people are going in more interesting directions with their emoticon pictures.

yeah, Your right, I was hoping that having it animated slightly would make it a bit more interesting. I was thinking the old Angry Face Easter Egg. Although it was much more intricately done.

Critique: The emotion here is funny and fitting, I think the shading feels unfinished plus there are some brush marks outside of the yellow head.
Cleaning those plus blend with a much higher opacity on areas that would look close to being sharp (like the receding area below the cheekbone).
Also having a monkey ear would give it a more funny charm then the ears you have now.

It's in the right direction from your 1st picture, but ZaneZansorrow is right, you should try to be a bit more creative with it. All it is right now is a mediocre recreation of the face itself. You have over 2 months, you should take the time to make the best thing you've ever made! Add detail! Add creations! Add your own personal flair! Spend hours to make this the best image you could even comprehend, and then some! :D

You're also going in the right direction, this is getting closer to something personal, relevant, and creative. It just seems like a doodle still, very rushed. You should take your time, you have plenty of time to think about concepts, make sure your craftsmanship is good quality, all that good stuff. You can do it, you just need to hone the power of patience!
