Fine with me, we've had enough time to know who we may or may not be facing and more than enough time to think about what we're gonna say. We shouldn't need more than 3 days, in my opinion. The first round, we just kind of get thrown into it all, like when I found out I was vs'ing Rav, my day 1 was already almost gone lol.

I agree. It really doesn't take long to put a 16 bar verse together.

I personally would rather the comp take a bit longer and actually get to hear the battles. I mean, we've all got lives outside of this to occupy ourselves in the meantime (I assume). It's just a matter of patience.

I think the rules now are pretty good, but if there's ever money involved, I'd say you gotta be more strict.

But if the rules are the rules, and someone can't put together 16 bars in 3 days (that's 3 HOURS per 5-10 WORDS, LOL) then they probably need to practice first.

It's funny, I can't understand why anyone'd need 3 days, unless there are only certain days in the week you can get your verse on record. In fact, I don't get why anyone'd want it. After like 30 minutes of good lyricism, I just completely lose the aggression needed to write decent punches. I mean, I took three days to get a verse done with FB just because I can't get to recording equipment on the weekend, but me and Ob did our battle in 48 hours flat, and I'd say we hit dat thing hard.

No, everyone writes their lyrics within an hour.... but some of us are self-aware enough to realize if our first draft is weak and use the extra time to do rewrites.

First off, Pigpen will never actually battle anyone for money. He's a bunch of talk, and too sore of a loser to actually put anything significant on the line. I guarantee you he won't put up the money.

And if for some reason he actually does come through on this, you absolutely have to predetermine the judges.

I know his type. He's old, getting over the hill, missed his boat in life. He thinks that the experience he's gained in being a loser will allow him to bully people that are younger than him to feed his ego. He looks at all his friends accomplishing things, getting their first assistants and managerial positions, and he wants the same thing, even though he doesn't have a job or a business.

So yeah, of course he won't come through. If he does he'll try to manipulate his way to victory like the snake he is, for that is all his beta personality will allow him to do. He probably won't pay if he loses. There needs to be some sort of physical repercussion. Like, he has to give up the address of his mom's house.
