I like it. Very eerie. It feels like the clap/snare doesn't have much impact, but hey, that's just my opinion.
Does the Hype Track have to be on a Newgrounds-produced beat, or can I "borrow" one from outside the community?

As far as I'm aware as long as you clear it with whoever's beat it is you're good to go. Doesn't have to be off Newgrounds.

Turtle: Wav is nice. Makes me nod my head. Lots of cool parts of the beat. Lots of opportunity for ebb and flow during the battle :)
Nightmare Factory: Super farty beat, very cocky, menancing music in the background throughout the song is a nice touch, very high level of swag, bassy. Makes me want to drive around late at night near a cliffedge on a mysty midnight in a car from the 50s.

To upload music on Newgrounds you must use a beat that is either yours or that you have a license (permission) to use. If you upload it somewhere else I'm not too worried about where your beat is from.

I'm pretty sure, but some of the emcees will get a first round bye, depending on the number of competitors. Still, I'd like a little more info regarding beat selection, how seeding will work, and a link to the art submissions would be kinda cool too.

If anyone has any free time you can help me with something. Go through the following posts and make a list of all the NG accounts of MCs who have battled before but haven't signed up to this comp. I'm going to make a public list of people we should all call out to battle and then we PM bomb them. Make the usernames links if you can. I won't be able to do this until Monday.
