What wrong with this layout? The last time i was here this WAS the new layout.

A redesign!? This is going to be awesome!

I'm definitely looking forward to the redesign. I was counting the days awhile ago, then let it be, now it's popped back into my mind with only a few days to go, awesome.

Things the redesign really needs:

1.) A way to edit posts. Specifically when commenting on people's pages, forums as well would be awesome.

2.) Separation of Games and Movies. Sounds like you already have this in mind, and from our emails in the past, I'm sure this will be done correctly. Hopefully this not only includes navigation, but daily awards as well.

3.) Emphasis on the Audio Portal. I've recently submitted my first music to Newgrounds, and it all got buried, despite high ratings. If you're not in the top 20 or so, you aren't getting views, which is sad. Something needs to be done about this. More tags, more specific genre listing, better search features for finding audio, etc.

4.) Use the space available, screw people with old ass computers, they can learn to scroll a bit, or upgrade they're ancient monitors.

5.) Add better notification for communication on the site. When I respond to someone on my page, I want them to know, they shouldn't have to come back to my page, check that news article a few days later, and see if I responded. For instance, you (Tom) commented on my latest post, I responded, conversation dead because you probably won't check back. You should be notified I responded, it'll keep things more lively between members.

All in all, I look forward to the update. If these things aren't in it, work them in as time passes, but I know the above is good for everything, by everyone ;)

what exactly is being deleted? If you aren't deleting old submissions, nor an old bbs, then what?

Case and point for #1, #4 should read "their", not "they're", making those typos drives me insane, and warrants a double post.

You have always had the option to favorite artists on the site, which lists them on your page and gives you email updates of their new submissions. We're gonna be improving on that right after launch.

The daily awards are the last thing that needs to be split up, that's on the liljim list for post-launch. I agree that an edit button would be helpful and hope to some day get that in.

Notifications are a big area we want to tackle post-launch. I'm really tired of failing in that department.

The Audio Portal has tags and better browsing but still needs to keep improving.

It's largely stuff that no one knows exists... Old pages that are no longer linked to, old images used for previous promotional stuff.

yeah swapping weapon should be really cool.that way you can both level up and use your favourite weapon(is that how you write favourite?)

The option to swap to lower level weapon icons isn't part of the redesign, sorry. :(
