Black metal is pretty epic. Free form, too. I agree that, next to folk/oriental/shamanic metal and post-black metal, black metal is the best metal sub genre and since it's decidedly freeform, it won't be dying out any time soon.

Freeform? Its just a straight beat with bad toned guitars, no bass you can hear, and awful satanic screaming vocals, its some 80s bs.
