It's coming back, the FL Core Competition! I have contacted Tom Fulp for instore credit, although I'm not holding my breath. Worst case, I contribute my own money to this fucking competition.

RULES:
Song entry has to ONLY be produced with the default Fruity Loops plugins/samples. NO Sytrus, and nothing that one would have to buy extra. ONLY samples and VSTi's that come bundled with FL Producer Edition. One stipulation to that: you CANNOT use any samples from the "Used by demo projects" folder! This will create a bit of a challenge for you veteran NG audio folk.

Judges:
I have no judges other than myself. If you would like to judge, PM me or post in the general discussion thread. This is important. If you have the slightest urge to judge, PM me.

Song due date: January 14th, 2012

Prizes:
First place:$50 instore credit
Second place:$25 instore credit
Third place: $20 instore credit
Fourth place : $5 instore credit and an inner feeling of "god-damn-i-suck".
Fifth-Eighth: A review and meaningless recognition, mwahaha.

Final words:
Only post your submissions in this thread, post comments in the discussion thread. You may be required to show proof of FL-only samples and VSTis through your .FLP. Be prepared for that.

Sorry for the double post but I should mention that I resampled the kick so that I could make a reverse of it. I used Edison to do it so if that violates the rules then I guess I'm already disqualified, lol.

Made primarily with 3xOSC, Wasp XT and the Vintage drum samples, it was a labor of love and a thrill to make.

I went though a lot of projects before I ended up settling with the final song, and most of these aren't gonna be finished anytime soon, if at all. So I've decided that I'm gonna dump all the .FLP files and let everyone have at it.

You realize that the last day to submit was the 14th, right? Unless the deadline has changed, there's no real reason to bump the topic up. The judges will get around to this soon.

The judges are in disarray, DJ-Nate hasn't been on since the 12th. But nobody seems to notice, or care.

Well I'm halfway finished with judging, will probably finish later this week.

In the case that nate died or something I'd say judges should post their results in here on the first of feb.

I'm one of the judges, we still have another week to send in our results.
I've already sent in my scores to nate for him to average out with the other scores, so it's up to him to reveal the results.

I can imagine it would be frustrating, having to wait this long.
