Holiday Funding and Game Jamming

Tis the season for giving and now would be a great time to support some Kickstarters by NG regulars.

JAZZA has an ongoing Ortus RPG Kickstarter with the goal of raising $20,000. This game has been in the works for over a year and involves a large team, so production has far exceeded the intended budget. NG just gave it a boost with an $1,800 site license pledge, bringing their current total to $8,647. If you donate $50 you can become an NPC in a massively popular RPG. Donate $100 and your NPC can give out a quest!

Captainmcross has set up a Pencilmation DVD Kickstarter and has just nine days to go. NG pledged $400 for the sponsor position, so he just needs to raise another $1,232 before the deadline. I do like the idea of being an NPC in an RPG game I'll very likely play.

Wrong time of the year though for donating funds to games when there are family members to spoil rotten with gifts. Plus a Manchester meet I desperately would like to save up for.

Son of a bitch. I was thinking of doing a short doc on newgrounds to fulfill a college requirement. Came up with that same title and everything. Guess that's out... :(
