So I have this remix I made and some guy posted it on youtube and its got over 100,000 views and counting. He gave me no credit and I'm really pissed off. Some other videos of the same song even blatantly say it was by them. What do I do?

I'm already telling all my friends on facebook to go comment on the video saying it was "fishfood2021's remix". If anyone with a youtube account could do the same I would be very thankful. Help this newgrounds artist out please!!
Attacking with an immature, frontal assault won't work well; it will prove that the attackers are immature and will only make you look bad. You need to be reasonable about this, despite the fact that someone stole your hard work.
First, try contacting them via PM on YouTube, if they don't respond within 48 hours or respond negatively, then reach YouTube's customer service about it. They'll be your best bet to remove the vid.
IN all seriousness, the truly best way to fix this issue is to simply ignore the oter person's video. Getting people to go on his video to comment, you;re giving him views. Just link people to your video and all will be well; outta sight, outta mind.

I don't care how many views he gets. I just want people to know it was me who made the song... So if everyone's posting saying this is my remix it will catch on.

People steal my Daft Punk fakebit remixes a lot but I don't really chase it up because it's not like I own the copyright to those songs anyway. I just comment on the video with "whoa, deja vu" and they'll either sheepishly delete the video or sheepishly delete my comment usually :P

you sure you didn't get the links switched around? Anywho, it's best to just contact Youtube about it, they'll most likely help you out.
Whenever you upload your songs on the internet, you should already accept that it may get stolen.

The first one just didn't give me credit.
The second one was blatantly saying it was his.
Well he still refuses to give me credit for the song. And youtube doesn't seem to want to respond to me. Time to resort to other actions...

how much time did you give youtube to respond to you? they are the largest video site on the planet, it may take them a bit to get to you problem

It's ok. Youtube is on this shit how. I just submitted another request on a different video and they took it down 5 minutes later! Thanks for the help guys. Problem is now solved :).
