There should be some sort of button combination you have to pull off in a couple seconds to avoid the shell. That way, players who are good enough won't lose beacause a terrible driver got a powerup.

If you have a mushroom, and are extremely lucky, if you use the mushroom at the VERY last second before the blue shell hits you, you can dodge it. ive never been able to do it, but ive heard tell that its possible

Guys, i just found out about a glitch in Maka Wuhu that allows you to skip about 20 seconds of the second lap, all but ensuring you victory! its really cheap, but you need a mushroom to do it. ive seen people use it in the online racing and it just pisses me off. i found out how to do it, but i'd never do it in online racing because im not a cheap-ass. Still though, im surprised Nintendo didnt find this before they released it, its pretty big

yeah, people dont seem to care as long as they get the points for being first. i even decided to do it once just because at least half of the other people were doing it too and i did not want to get last

Got it for Christmas. I'm quite fond of it already since it controls a lot like Double Dash, which was one of my all time favourite GC games, and my favourite Mario Kart.

I dislike how characters are only prizes for 150cc cups, since the AI is a bit cheap on that level, but I'm good enough that I can live with it.

I want to play someone here, to see how well I fare against my 3DS buddies.

I got it today. Really nice controls and imaginative courses. Pity so many characters are difficult to unlock though. I suck at this game, and my cruddy internet means that I won't get as many online matches as I want.

How about we get a group of people together and race. The more, the better.

I got Mario Kart 7 with Super Mario 3D land for Chirstmas!

Man, the online system runs so much more beautifully now. I remember back in the DS version, there will be tons of lag. I play online almost everyday now!

I love this game, the only thing that really dissapointed me was the lack of unlockables. Mk wii and Mk ds had so many fun and cool unlockables. This game has a couple new characters, but it still doesn't seem like much and unlockables come very slow, while being lame. Like seroiusly I would wait so long to unlock something and I would unlock mushroom tires? Why would I ever use those ugly things just keep them standarded.

sorry for second post, but lets have another time to meet up for races, because not everyone can make 5:00 EST. I know because i sent a note around in Swapnote about this asking people about times they were available. So including 5:00 EST, would 7:00 EST also work for others for different time to meet up? if not, just tell me a time that would work so we can have more races going on at more than just one point during the day
