Yesterday I was on the highway and me living in northern California, I'm used to seeing license plates from Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and to some extent, Texas, Colorado, etc. Well I'm into looking at out-of-state license plates and "collecting" them in my memory, but I saw one that didn't look recognizable. When I got a closer glance at it while we drove closer to them, this blue Beetle had a license plate from Saskatchewan, Canada. I thought it was cool because I rarely see Canadian license plates, and it's even more odd because they were on a highway in a suburban area with less tourists or outsiders than major city areas. Also I don't think many people live in that part of Canada. I've seen a few license plates from British Columbia before, one of them being a semi truck.
I've only seen one license plate from New York to my recollection, and that was in San Diego. I've seen one from Massachusetts too.
So how often do you see license plates from real far away places? If so, from where?
