agh damnit.

no hard feelings i guess. i put alot into my audition piece when i made it and thought i had a good chance,but im probably not in any of the top 32 of all the judges. thats a guess,although i could be wrong.

i guess i'll be a back-up judge since there's no other contests except for the NAC,which i'll probably ACTUALLY follow through with this month.

good job to all those who made it! i'll be rooting for some of you!

I think I'm gonna join the NAC this month as well. I've never done it before but this month's theme seems fine to me.

Now that results are posted, we can all watch our listen counts rise as our competition hastily tries to learn what we're all about so that they don't accidentally write in some style or genre that we are more comfortable in then them.

But yea I'm having a go over again. I started a song up just recently that's super duper epic but its utilizing samples from some choral group which isn't allowed. Kind of makes me sad. :P

Actually it's good for you guys that this battle (which will be epic btw) is so soon, because after this round either xKore or Nightkilla will be beaten, which gives you guys an almost indefeatable challenger less.
Also, I really was hoping I had to challenge you, DjHeat, I would've kicked your 8-bit fidget house in the nuts!

I think you should just make anything. LaForge makes a lot of metal and I sure ain't going down that road :P

No limit, the only important thing about song length is how it is used.

Exactly. There are no minimum or maximum lengths to follow, but just remember that a song which is too short will make it harder to impress the judges, while a song which is too long will make it harder to keep a decent level of variety.

You've got a leg up on me already though, The 2nd week of August, I'll be in Las Vegas and won't be able to produce. So I really only have 1 week to get this done. I believe the term is "Go Time" ?
