First time I've ever placed on a Newgrounds competition. Fuck Yeah.
When I got outside, the purple fog was spreading. I covered my nose and mouth, and ran home.
This years robot day kinda disappointed me animation wise. The stuff was not bad, in fact most of it was real good. Unfortunately, even the good stuff fell short of my expectations. I thought that this year I would have been able to watch more epic vids like titanmachina, but none were made. Oh well, guess there is next year!

Congrats to everyone that took part particularly in the Music competition. I have no idea how my song even frikkin placed, but hell I'm not complaining. Well Done Quarl you definitely deserved it and well done to everyone else too. It was a fun competition :D

I take responsibility for that.
and as you mentioned, they are guidelines not law.. Being that we had a small turnout this year around, Its up to judges and staff to decide if a late/ early submission would be allowed.
Its always a benefit to follow the rules of a contest, given a bigger turn out with more submissions of similar quality, those guidelines could have easily been used as a final deciding factor.
