To me it seems to be a huge step in logic for Jesse to think "Huel stole my dope, he also stole my ricin lased cigarette". But this episode was amazing. The meeting between Walt, Skyler, Mary and Hank had me in tears with laughter. AND the confession tape! I did not see that coming, but very well played on Walt's part

I wonder what the chances of Walt planting a ricin cigarette on Jesse during their hug is. Seems pretty unlikely to me but who knows.

In the flash-forward we see Walt going back to his house for the ricin cigarette so Walt planting the cigarette now it's out of discussion.

Great twist with the "confession" video and I've been waiting for Jesse to freak out ever since Walt let his girlfriend die way back in season 2 (or was it 3).

Well if you watched Talking Bad, which I kinda had to as nothing else was on, you see that Jesse was looking for his weed. He figured out that Huell snatched it off him when he bumped into him. So Jesse wanted to check his cigarette pack to see if the Ricin cig was still there. He figured out that Huell snatched it off him as he did with the weed and figured out Walt poisoned Brock by stealing the Ricin.

I'm guessing Walt Jr. shows up and Jesse changes his mind. Or at least doesn't burn the house.

Did anyone else feel like Jesse was about to get shot at any moment in this episode? I really don't want Jesse to die. Anyone else can go and I wont mind (except Walt, but obviously he wont die till the end), but if Jesse dies I'll lose significant interest in the remaining episodes.

Walt never used the Ricin. He had Huell pinch it so Jesse would come to Walt to kill him, because at the time Walt could not get any where near Jesse and he was desperate for his help. He DID use Lily of the Valley though, so Jesse betrayed Gus for nothing and Walt proved that he is a master manipulator.

I don't understand the cigarette...

I thought we all knew Walt took it back in Season 4 or 5. He took it to set up Gus. Walt used a house plant to poision Jesse's girlfriends child... to convince Jesse that Gus did it in order to convince Jesse to kill Walt. After Gus is killed, the doctors tell Jesse that it wasn't Ricin... and the season ends with the cigarette still missing. Then in season 5 (or whatever) they search Jesses house for the ricin. Walt has it but Jesse doesn't know that... so during the search Walt plants it in the robot vacuum and pretends to find it. Where he then pretends to flush it... but he kept it and hid it in the light socket instead.

So... didn't Jesse already lose the Ricin cigarette way back in season 4? And didn't Jesse already come to the conclusion that it was later found in his vacuum? So why is he upset it's missing... again?

Also... I hope Walt becomes a meth kingpin. I hope the series ends with Walt forever becoming Heisenberg, and Heisenberg is the fucking man. The new drug Kingpin of the meth industry.

He's upset because he realized Huell took the cigarette the same way he took his weed and he had a moment of clarity and since he had already been suspicious of Walt and there was enough evidence from past events for Jesse to put two and two together.

For anyone who doesn't get the Jesse realization, here is some dialogue between Walt and Jesse from season 4:

JESSE: I had it. I had the cigarette with the ricin in my pack this morning. The last time I saw Brock was last night. And this morning I switched the cigarette into a new pack. There's no way Brock took it himself!

WALT: Jesse, you're not thinking clearly, listen, you said it yourself, that you had it this morning. Then when could I have possibly gotten it?

JESSE: You...you had Saul do it. Yeah. Yeah. I went to his office. He called me in, just had to see me today. His big man mountain bodyguard patted me down, that's when he must have stole it off me right? That's the plan, was that the plan?

Basically, Huell pick pocketing him made him realize that IS what happened. And when he burst into Saul's office, it was all confirmed by Saul himself.

Well there's some things we need to consider. Jesse is on the brink of insanity, he probably doesn't have much control over his thoughts anymore.

He found a moment of clarity away from Walt, and had the opportunity to put the pieces together for once, instead of having his hand forced by Walt. If Huell can steal his weed so easily, then it fits his original theory that he once thought when he was about to shoot Walt, as opposed to the barefaced lie he told him.

This is really dragging on.

Definitely a slow and quiet episode, but I liked it.

SPOILERS

The fact that Walt put a hit on Jesse at the end by calling Todd was shocking. I didn't think he'd go that far. I'm curious if he really just wanted to talk to Jesse at the plaza or if he was planning on killing him via some secret means. The way they framed it with the reveal with the bald guy and then the bald guy meeting with his daughter was great.

Hopefully shit goes down next week. I thought the gasoline thing would have exploded into something bigger, but I liked how it developed with Hank taking Jesse in. I dunno. Good plot twists and reveals.

Also, Walt calling Badger "Beaver" was really funny to me for some reason.

I felt like Hank was going to start making a Casting Couch porno with Jesse, with that suggestive angle.

I love all the people calling Jesse a rat and a snitch now, and saying he took the cowards way out.

I thought it was made clear Walt definitely just wanted to talk. Revealing that shady looking guy was just there with his kid proves that. And Walt only says he has a job for Todd, could mean anything. I mean, yeah, good chance it's a hit, but nothing is absolute on this show.

Walt still has that ricin. He's taking some mo fucka out at some point.

Great episode tonight. I feel bad for Walt because, like Hank said, he cares about Jesse but now because of some random balded, random, badass looking guy on the plaza, who knows what Jesse is going to do. I'm almost sure he's not going to hurt Walt's family because Hank wouldn't let him but Walt calling Todd with another job for his uncle doesn't necesarilly means that he's going to kill Jesse but means that shit got serious.

And am I the only one thinking that a scene of Hank telling Gomez about Walt being Heisenberg and about using Jesse to catch him was missing? I'd loved to see Gomez reaction to that huge bomb.

Oh yeah about the where you really live line I think it's about the money. It's what Walt set out to achieve in the first place. Pinkman wants to take Walt down at all cost but he has a conscious. Don't think they'd have him harming the innocent.

Jesse is a bitch. jesus at this point no matter what he's still a bad guy and trying to do the right thing at this point is moot he's compromised his ethics seasons ago. the best thing for him to do is get it over with and take Walt down by any means necessary.

I was a bit upset that Walt's house didn't burn down - it felt like a bit of a let-down.

Until I saw what actually happened, and then I was like "waahahahahah this is the best show on TV"

It was obvious that Jesse wasn't gonna burn down the house. In the season premiere's flash forward the house doesn't look burned down.

I bet someone will still light the carpet on fire at some point. It does feel like it's dragging on at this point but then again there's just four episodes left, it has to pick up.

This show.

Is so good.

SO. GOOD.

Every Monday morning I wake up with an erection in anticipation of this most excellent show. And no, it's not just your typical morning wood. You can feel the difference. Trust me. Also, I rarely get morning wood anymore since becoming an oldfag.

The one thing I like the most about this show is how much they foreshadow stuff. Like how they foreshadowed the wire-tapping of Jesse in last week's episode...
