Ideas For a Vancouver Meet-up

Yeah, I want one badly. And I sorta tried last year and it fell apart. This time I'm serious and I'm sticking with the the city of Vancouver, in Canada.

It may not happen this year, but I'm making this list for when we're ready.

Some things we'll need are:
-Bars
-Places of interest
-One time events
-And perhaps a hotel hub for our long distance travelers to stay at.

Now I don't know any bars or hotels, but there are plenty of places to visit (almost) all year round:
-Science World (plenty of exhibits)
-PNE/Playland (rides, and exhibits)
-Vancouver Planetarium (laser show)
-Harbour Centre (revolving restaurant)
-Vancouver Public Library (General meeting place)
-Classical Chinese Garden (I've only been there twice in my life)
-Capilano Park (famous suspension bridge over river canyon)
-Granville Island (shows and stuff)

That's about all I can think of for now.

If anyone knows more about the area (and I'm sure some of you do), please add it here.

Hopefully this will become an annual event like the famous Luis/Poxpower meets.

Hmmm, what else is fun in Vancouver... :/ go to Metrotown, that would be fun. Definitely pubs (downtown is expensive, so I advise against drinking downtown). I live/work closeby to a really good-quality British-style pub. Good food, drinks are decent price. :D then I can go sneak into work and make everyone coffee (lol jk)

There's one every fuckin day, so it couldn't be that hard to organize. The rickshaw, club five sixty, the venue, commodore, fortune soundclub, gossip nightclub, etc. :) we could even go to an all-night club. $40 cover gorgomish hahaha.
