There's gonna be a fierce rivalry in this release since it almost co-incide with BF3 release (are they doin it on purpose btw?!) I guess COD is so much better in its single player mode great story, cutscenes, yeah like watchin movies, while BF is better in multiplayer mode (and graphic?!)

Yea the COD games are becomeing the same shit. Play the story, Try Zombies/Spec ops, play MP for a couple days/weeks. And since its a Modern Warfare then its gonna be hyped up the ass. Don't get me wrong I'll play it but I feel like Battlefield 3 can be a serious contender this year since the MW fan base seems to have shrunk with the fucked up MP and whining Machinima commentators complaining about Quickscoping.

Some of the maps are cut off or missing, I still think this list is the official list of all the maps because if you take a look at the picture and then at the map leak from ages ago, you'd see the missing maps are actually the ones that are before and after alphabetically.

So yep, looks like we're going to have 20 on disc maps which makes me a VERY happy guy.

MW3 to be integrating Steamworks on PC, plus dedicated servers. Dunno if you guys know this or not. I'm sorta slow on these modern war games.

TIer 1:
Extreme Conditioning - sprint faster (Pro: climb faster)
Sleight of Hand - faster reload (pro: faster weapon swap)
Scavenger - re-supply ammo (pro: more starting ammo)
Blind Eye - undetectable by killstreaks (pro: lock on air support faster, higher damage to air support)
Recon - explosive damage paints target on mini map (pro: bullet damage paints targets)

Tier 2:
Hardline - 1 less kill for streak (pro: 2 assists count toward pointstreak)
Assassin - immune to UAV, thermal, etc. (pro: immune to EMP and counter-uav)
Overkill - 2 primaries (pro: 2nd primary can be equipped with two attachments)
Quickdraw - faster aim down sights (pro: faster recovery from equipment and grenade usage)
Blast shield - less damage taken from explosives (pro: immune to stuns and flashes)

Tier 3:
Sitrep - detect enemy equipment (pro: hear enemy footsteps better)
Dead Silence - silent footsteps (pro: no falling damage)
Stalker - faster movement while aiming down sights (pro: delay claymores)
Marksman - ID target from range (pro: longer breath time)
Steady Aim - increased hip fire accuracy (pro: faster aiming down sights while sprinting)

EMP Grenade: Temporarily takes out all area electronics.

Remote Turret: A remote controlled turret.
Directional UAV: A UAV that can be directed into areas to scan for enemies.
Remote Mortar: Direct a mortar team using a zoomable camera view of the map to call in strikes.
Airdrop Trap: A booby-trapped airdrop.
Ammo Resupply: An ammo reloading airdrop.
Escort Airdrop: A protected airdrop.
Specialist Strike Package: This one remains a mystery to us.

Also there's millions of trailer analysis videos on YouTube that give a good idea of what some things could be in multiplayer.

While I'm not disagreeing, I'm just a bit sceptical because at the end of the MW3 Spec Ops trailer (on the bit with the multiplayer footage) it comes up saying "Juggernaut 14 Point Streak" - which would confirm that it's point streaks instead of kill streaks.

The perks seem about right though.

Two other Point Streak rewards are also shown in the multiplayer clip. After the IMS kills fourzerotwo the other player is rewarded with Juggernaut, a new 14 Point Streak reward. Once it is rewarded the announcer states, "Juggernaut ready for delivery", but even this quote doesn't provide much insight into what the Point Streak will provide. The two most common theories lean towards an AI bot being deployed into the match (much like how Juggernauts function in Spec Ops), or this Point Streak will give the player the EOD (Juggernaut) suit which could increase the amount of explosive/bullet damage the player can take before dying.

It also appears that the Predator Missile, first seen in Modern Warfare 2, will be returning. This missile, rewarded somewhere between 4 and 14 points, will most likely remain user controlled via a laptop.

One final thing to note about the Point Streaks is that they appear to be stackable. Not only did the IMS (4 Point reward) earn stillRIZZO the 14 point Juggernaut reward, but once he reached 14 points the meter (bottom right of the screen) reset back to four slots. This could possible mean players have the ability to earn four Point Streak rewards per life (while still only have 3 rewards equipped). It also appears that players may be able to scroll through their earned rewards and use them in any order they want.

Point streaks can be obtainable from kills, capturing objectives, planting bombs etc. Apparently it's to try and encourage people to play the game rather than camp for kills.

Yeah, I knew about all of this and that's what I assumed until I saw in a video with either Robert Bowling's tweets or an interview with him about killstreak stuff. I wish I could find that video, but I don't know where it is or even what it said exactly that maid me assume there were killstreaks.

You know as long as they take dual wielding out, I'll be that much happier. I have some hope for this game after all, but not too much because that spoils everything.

Maybe they should make dual wielding a perk, because they always going to be some dumbass out ther on Xbox Live/PSN who's going to do just that. Plus I really do hope that they do remove that nuke killstreak, I know how stupid that was in multiplayer.
