He wanted a little bit more money and they threw him away like garbage. Thats pretty disrespectful since antti niemi is one of the reasons they won the stanley cup. Flyers had one of the best offenses last year and antti niemi mad sick plays as goalie last yr in the stanley cup.

The thing about our Goalies is that they either have a good night or a bad night. Also when ever someone comes in as a backup the team overall seems to play better... We've got a slew of pivotal games happening tonight: game 6 between Boston and Montreal, said game is currently 2-1 Canadiens late in the second period. If the Bruins win, they advance to the next round; if the Canadiens win, they force game 7.

Game 7 between Buffalo and Philly is currently 2-0 Flyers, now partway into the second period. It's winner take all for this one.

Later tonight we have the game of the playoffs so far, game 7 of Blackhawks-Canucks. Chicago surmounted a 3-0 defecit to win 3 straight and force a game 7, and are now looking to become just the 4th team in NHL history to win a series after being down 3 games to none. Go Blackhawks!
