Vancouver and Boston? I gotta say I did not see this coming. I'll root for Boston, original six underdogs.
Shit, I have nothing better to watch, so Staley Cup Final is on my list of things to watch this June.

That's called trolling sir. The Bruins' marketing department is funny hell.
You're not a real hockey fan if you can't root for an Original Six.

It's ain't no different from the Sox's, Pats', and Celts' marketings.
I'm not a Vancouver fan by any stretch of the imagination but I hope they absolutely destroy Boston

Boston didn't deserve to win, but whatever. They deserved to lose to the Habs on the first round.
Imagine if the Lightning had a good goalie like Price...
I didn't even feel it came down to their goalie but their poor defense at letting Bostons offense get close constantly. Yet, Boston's defense kept getting the puck out of their area so Lightnings offense couldn't ever get anything started.

.
Well, the first game between the Bruins and Canucks isn't until Wednesday night, so looks like we'll be on a mini hiatus until then.
Also, 800 replies, seems Newgrounds really likes its hockey.

Damn you Lightning! You let me down again, in game 7 no less.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way, I guess I have to go with Vancouver for the Stanley Cup over Boston, even if I have to swallow a little bit of my pride in picking a team from Canada to win the cup. I hoping it will be a sweep, but Vancouver tends to have a nasty habit of not showing up for a game or 2, and that might make it a series.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I imagine something like this. There's no doubt in my mind it will be a close series, but I don't think Boston can take it. Now that I've said this we'll probably see Boston win 4 in a row...
Canucks have Kessler and the Sedins, who the f can compete with that on the bruins? If The Canucks goalie does his job and their defense. Than Canucks should win this series pretty easily.

The Sedins aren't playing as well as usually, but are starting to shape up. But I think you can count on Luongo. He's been playing amazing lately.

Hoping for Boston to win is like a Polish dude in the 40's hoping Hitler would won. It's just blasphemy.
Canucks are taking it game 5, you fuckers mark my words, I said that we'd beat SJ game 5, and we did. So fuck you guys, I'm going home.
fuck yuo idiote
The Canucks did it! They won their first stanley cup ever and they're also the first canadian team to win the cup since 1993. Take that Boston!

Normally, I'd agree, but I'm a pedantic fuck, so here goes:
They have as much chance of lifting the cup as the Canucks. That's a 50:50 chance in my book.
Both of the goalies are as good as one another. If anything, Tim Thomas is better. He has a lower GAA and a higher SV%... Okay, so their GAA is tied, but that's another matter.
Yes, Vancouver have by far and away the best offence this time around. Boston has a massive shot in Charra from the point, but they need to test Luongo and often, if they are to stand a chance that Thomas will give them down the other end.
It's closer than you think and I believe that we're in for 6 or 7 games. I think it's close enough to say that I don't know who will win, which means that as a neutral fan, I win.

cheering for the canucks in a Canada vs US duel.
get the fuck out.
Well, game 1 is starting momentarily. I can't say I want either team to win but one of them has to. My pick for the winner if Vancouver, and that's just because I think they're a better team than Boston. If it were up to me, neither would win.
deal with it.

To someone who's actually watching the game: is this the most boring 0-0 game in NHL history like I think it is?
I'm not watching, but getting score updates on my iPhone.

No, not at all. There's lots going on aside from goals.

Oh, well then. I just assume both teams are hitting the shit out of each other because that's what Vancouver does at home, and that's just how Boston plays.

Well the game being 0 - 0 makes it intense the whole time you're watching just waiting for that first goal. Also, with all the powerplays, there's a lot of time being spent on the attack and both goalies are playing really well tonight.
Holy fuck, so many penalties. And a bite, a motherfucking BITE. What is this, elementary school? Suspend that guy, he has no sportsmanship.

Who did the bite, I was watching south park. The game is well boring... It's an all defensive style type of game. It kind of makes me think this type of style favors The Bruins a little bit...
