Think we could see what the vote tallies were?
I'm interested in how the registered vote ratio compares to review consensus.

@BigRed Hey Red, I don't really care what my name is on the brackets or anything but like if this is going on a real CD think you could mark my name down as Q-Sik The 112? That's my officiall name, or whatever.

I feel if you get knocked out you should still be able to vote.

I dont know about other people, but i can recognize skill for art, regardless if I lost to someone I was voting for or not, if they are good, they will get my vote.

To not allow any MC's to vote after being knocked out is wrong, unless there is a valid reason as to why a knocked out MC should or would feel any sort of emotional attachment to a loss, especially if the person that beat them deserved to win based solely off of skill and talent.

Oh shit I just realized, I mean I'm warning you right now Red, I mention somebody who's already lost in my 2nd verse as a reference to me and Glitch.......
THEY shouldn't be able to vote on my track xD

No one should be a poor sport in something that is meant for fun and diversity, that would be ignorant...

Sorry for the double post lol.

Regardless it's biased voting.

In one dimensional thought, yeah, I guess it is.

Well, I assume most of these MC's are mature enough to not let their own personal emotions get in the way of their voting. I just know I'd love to be able to vote on the competition if I lose this round. :/

Yeah, that was all I was saying. I still would love to vote if I get knocked out at any point in the comp.

There's nothing you can do about people being biased. I know it's lame, the idea of someone who was knocked out voting against the dude that knocked him out in spite. We cant force people to not be little bitch babies. We just have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

They still are members of the NGHH community, and they still should be able to participate. If they wanna vote like a cunt, then let them. It's not like we wont be able to see that.

So you guys are all in favor of letting knocked MC's vote on EVERY future battle, including ones with the MC that knocked them out? Anyone lurking chime in with your opinion; we've got to decide before this round's tracks are up.

I don't see why anyone would be petty enough to vote against the MC that knocked them out. We're all adults, right?

Also, I had a quick question, does this competition come out at the same time every year? Would've loved to enter but I missed the start.

Go to bigred.newgrounds.com and check out the Tag Team battle! You pair up with a producer to produce a track. And yeah, same thing same time next year. If you PM me you're email I'll add you to the contact list.

Not really, no.
I'm in favor of not letting losers vote in battles the person they lost to are in... if the voter pool is still small.

It really could go either way. We're not dealing with a professional voting panel with established criteria as it is, and it seems like the MC's have all been more fair and well-informed than some of the voters.

There are some obvious beefs, like between BN and Qsik and people are gonna have their biases, but I think most of us understand that this competition is only as valid as the voters make it. If not, oh well.

I got no beef with BN. O.O

I mean if you really cant trust people to vote fairly, then i guess dont...

I just think that is very sad.

In my opinion, adult or not, respect is due when someone spits fire.
If you do allow knock outs to vote, I have one thing to say to them...

Dont be bitches... Dont ruin this lol.

Oh, yea, me and Klazik have spoken since then, I don't think either of us really care about it, infact I think he gave me the win over TehSlapHappy, I can't remember and I'm too lazy to check.
But I mean, everybody here seems to be pretty in control of their emotions, honestly I don't care if I win or lose, I've just grown up battling people and I love to battle.

I mean, I can promise I wont be biased, I was a white kid growing up battling in Memphis, TN. Whether or not I did better than my opponent, most of them wouldn't admit because I was white (until I started to get into the clicks and all that, bla bla) So I'll be the first to say that I'm used to losing, haha xD This competition is all in good fun, though, I do assume most people feel the same way.

I'm far from not trusting MC's to vote. It sounds like everyone supports letting knocked out MC's vote, and I'm fine with that. Now I'm just trying to determine if we let them vote on the MC who knocked them out.

I think that we should. If knocked out MC's vote the legit votes will outnumber any biased ones.

You say that now but seriously how big is the voter pool? And when it's a down to the wire battle and every vote counts...allowing potential bias will be a point of contention at that point.

I would say that knocked out MC's should definitely be allowed to vote. There may be a bias, but there's bias in everyone's vote anyways. I don't see it being that big an issue

Which is why we have to hammer it out now. Battles last round had 7-10 votes from people who registered to vote. That number will grow, but probably not by much.

So right now we're deciding between two options I believe:

1. Knocked out MC's can vote on everything except for the MC that knocked them out
2. Knocked out MC's can vote on everything

Everyone seems to be cool with number 1, right?

Number one sounds good to me.

That can go either way. But, if we're letting them vote, I'd say not vote on the battles of the MC that knocked them out. However, what happens when that emcee moves in to the next round, or the semi's when it's just that emcee and someone else? Are they allowed a vote then, or since that emcee knocked them out are they still not allowed to vote?

Just bringing up that point in case it gets brought up later, nobody can say we didn't decide that course of action as well.

Stay up FAM, lol

By the way, to everyone worried about names and all that jazz, this year I will PM the album cover to you while it's being created. You can edit your name there and have it appear exactly as you want it.
