Panera Bread Aftermath 2004-04-15 12:39:02

Dan and I realized we underestimated our fame when we pulled up to the Panera Bread - a line was straight out the door and extended all the way down the shopping center parking lot. We decided to to call out to everyone to follow us to the nearby mall foodcourt, where there would be enough seating for everyone. Before we could even get to the mall, however, police circled the large mob and asked us to please disperse as we did not have a permit to assemble there.

Ok, that's not what really happened. Dan and I sat down at Panera Bread with our soup & sandwiches, ate, and left. No one showed up during the 25 minutes we were there. Experiment over. :)

Then I got here it's ok Tom we all love you guys but I'm not hopping on a plain so I can eat with you two for 25 minutes that would be over the line of fan and deep into the realm of stalker.

Come on a plane to Liverpool, then there will be at least one fan to see you. :P

The problem is you are internationally famous so only a small percentage of NG users would be in the postion to go. Cut that percentage with by the number who only attend the site for the movies and games and that's a very small number.

Just one hour?

It'd take you longer than that. Especially with all the makeup.

aww :( No <3 for Tom. Bend was probably there, but he's used to having windows between him and his victims.

Poor Tom, maybe everyone is terrified by your prescence and just stayed at a short distance. You and Dan could always fly over to England and I'd take you guys for a McDonalds :P
But seriously...what if someone wanted to kill you and you posted your whereabouts and time you'd be there....my god....the BBC could finally have their revenge for you using their teletubbies!!!
Just think, they keep saying to the press that something is being sorted about it (or at least, they used to say) maybe they've been waiting.
Nah...fuck that.

Response to Panera Bread Aftermath 2004-04-15 13:15:16

I bet more people would have come, or actually, people would have come, if you planed it like a few days before or something. Maybe a week. More people would come then. Specially if you plan that on holiday season.

Yes, Pico was bodyguardin´ Tom, so we don't want a massacre to occur.
