Is it possible to create a Zelda like top down view game with GF2? because me and my brother are wanting to create one and not sure if we can.

Yes -- You can create any sort of 2D game you can imagine with it.
(Or with Multimedia Fusion 2 -- Its the big brother of The Games Factory 2)
