dammit, none of u guyz mentioned about me after i leave..I'M, LEAVING..........j/k
The camp was FUN and i have 1001 stories to tell u all!!!
My camp is located in the middle of nowhere aka the forest and it's freaking cold in the morning and fucking hot in the afternoon. There are no telephone lines nor cellphone line when we arrived. The camp was not even ready because the roads are not paved yet.
We have no water supply for 1 week and we have to use the greenish, murky water from the tanks in the bathroom to brush our teeth, clean our anus and bathe.
On our first day, we played some games as a welcome greeting. we played "Ice Breaking" which is to break everyone in groups and let us get to know each other because there are 407 boys and girls in my camp. The first "Ice Breaking" was to form groups according to the month of birth so there will be 12 groups ranging from January to December. I found out that there was this guy who i knew for 2 years who was the same birth date as mine! After that we were asked to form groups based on from which state we are from coz there are people from other states who come to our camp such as Penang (my state), Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Perak. Then each group have to sing a song that everyone in the group knows, so our group sang the state anthem.
On our second day, morning, everyone in the camp was divided into 4 groups- Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. I'm the the Alpha team and it's good coz we got to do stuff first. In the Afternoon, we were forced to cut our hair into no. 2 style. In case u dunno what's no. 2, no. 2 means your hair is as high as half of ur finger's thinkness...freaking short
The food was horrible. The canteen had to be closed for one week starting from 24 Dec because 7 ppl was hospitaized and 100+ got food poisoning. Luckily i din got it. Yesterday, during breakfast, we found tons of MAGGOTS crawling everywhere on the floor of the canteen. no one eat breakfast that day because the maggots were sickening and the day before, i found a black color bug as big as a green pea in my rice. Also, flies are EVERYWHERE and when a fly stopped on the food, the waiter did not throw the contaminated food away, instead he MIXED all the food together like a witch mixing potion. After there were so many food poisoning cases happening in my camp, he officials from the Ministry of Health came to my camp to examine the food and drinks. I even eard that the officials scolded the kitchen staff for not cleanon gthe fish scales properlly coz we complained that each time we eat the fish, there are scales on the fish.
We have 4 cultural nights within these 3 months and the first one was held on wednesday night. On cultural night, people from a specific team have to perform dances, songs etc from each different races---Malay, Chinese and Indian. Wednesday night's perfroming team was the Delta Team. We don't know which team will be next until the afternoon before the cultural night.
The light pollution there is so low that u can see every star in the sky! We even saw a meteor at dawn while getting ready for the morning marching last week. The meteor light the dark sky up as bright as day for a second and it was wonderful.
I met tons of beautiful and ugly girls there. The girls are mad about me and they want my personal photographs. Happened that i brought about 10 personal photos and i wrote my name and email address behind the photo and give the photos to the girls. Now i'm out of photographs and i need to develope sommore. Kinda cool while you are on our way to the dorm and girls are calling you to say hi.
I have to return to the camp on 26 Dec..and i'll be back for Chinese New Year on Febuary!
