I decided to jump over to the forums to showcase some of my art. I'm sure just about everyone who's active here checks out the art portal, but at least here there can be decent discussion.
Critique is appreciated.

Yes, I'm a hardcore furfag. I'm taking commissions and my prices are in my journal on my NG profile page if anyone is remotely interested.
I plan on starting a website with my girlfriend to market our art, prints, and other merchandise. We've only just started on that, but it shouldn't be long before we have more time to buckle down and get it up and running.

Anyway, here's one of my recent pictures. A husky/wolf character of mine in a bikini. Mind the lazy-ass background, I really didn't feel like drawing anything other than tits.

Haha, yeah I think I've improved a lot since then. And I've changed as a person too. A lot of stuff has happened for the past few years so I think it's necessary to start fresh.

Why the hell did you abandon your old art thread? It was already huge. About the artwork, it's fairly solid. I'm not much of a fan when it comes to furries. But I can say it's a good job.

You're pretty brave to post 'furry' stuff here, I think. Good for you.

Anyway, I have a problem with her left leg that just feels like it 'portaled' behind her right. The lighting is nice, but I'd like to see some collarbone shadow definition because I think I see an attempt at this.. only its way shifted to our right. And this is me being super nit-picky: The curve and composition of the tail just feels unnatural. Like an after-thought, at least the positioning of it.

Do you notice the overall curse of everything except the shoulder lines? Is this accidental or intentional?

I'd redline this but I think a lot of my crit is stylistic differences.. perhaps, dunno. :(

I do agree the proportions look alright ( I'm no expert =) ) and the colors are fun. Overall I like it.

I returned here mostly because of the size of the community. I've tried posting in other places, but I think Newgrounds would be the most interesting. Every other place I post gets the same one word comment from the same 14 year old kid.

I do realize some lighting mistakes, but you pointed out some instances that my eye had missed (like the collarbone.)
The tail is actually kind of upside down. I have a real nasty habit for focusing too much on one or two features, but completely fucking up others. Ah well, trial and error is the artists' way.

The term is complicated. Anthropomorphism is the proper term but furries solely focus on the fandom for anthropomorphizing animals. I consider characters like these to be called furries regardless.

It looks good. I am not a big fan of furry stuff, but thats usually because people take it to a sick extreme. On that note, I think we would appreciate if you keep the NSFW stuff to a minimum (i.e. dicks, vag, etc.). If you want to post it, I think its cool, but I would say rather a link to your work, rather than posting it in all of its glory.
Then again, thats just my opinion. I don't want to be scarred by any arts, y'know?

More on your art:
Your furry persona is really cute. Your girlfriends face is a little bit weird looking to me (don't tell her I said that! lol!!!), but I can see the love in the pic. You guys are cute together.
The "cute" one. I like the perspective, but The hair is really thick and volumous, like its poofing up a lot higher than her skull. I do think scaling her head down a bit would help a lot. The hands look good, did you use a ref?
German Shepherd. The boob kinda bothers me. It is kinda bumpy in places, which could be from just a slip of the hand. The hand also bothers me. It is either really big and she has sausage fingers, or I am assuming its a paw. Her legs also seem to disappear again, which I noticed in your starting picture as well. However, I like the way you shaded in the body, and the design on her back is pretty cool.
Your latest pic. I like the linework and the pose. I think the breasts are a bit too defined underneath; it looks like they are coming out very far from her chest. Maybe she just has big breasts, idk. The belt buckle is also a little wobbly. I like the color of the clothes and hair as well. Muted, but a nice shade of green. What I do notice though is that her fur is really... pink. Maybe a more reddish-brown color would be better.

Your art is really cool, and it would be awesome if you could go back and color those other pictures. They would look great, and would make a great addition to this thread. :)

Thanks for the review and critique, I really appreciate supportive and constructive comments. :3 I definitely try to learn from past mistakes, though some take longer than others. haha

Mid 2010-ish I started taking a liking to more hardcore stuff. I would've probably posted sooner, but it wouldn't have been with much satisfaction. That shit is really hard to draw. x__x
