Finished these guys up.
For now im not going to use any shading anymore, trying to improve linewight.
this will force me to really show the form with just line...

That Feng Zhu is your new god. And not worshipping him results in getting beaten with a stick.

Color theory, color temperature, change of atmospheric perspective.
I'm not suppose to tell anyone what i've been taught since i singed a contract.
But i suppose i can post this since Feng posted on his own Facebook.
Its quite awesome how he can do this in just one class session..

More of this project, i decided to make the relic a demon gate :)
Im the only one in class who has the relic be a treat instead of protecting people from stealing the relic in some sort lol.
Not sure which to pick for the final location which should tie everything together

I'm blown away by the huge load of great work! In fact I can't give much feedback on the illustrations and concept. However layout and presentation is something I dabble with so I'll give you my tiny bit of insight on that.
Undoubtedly you spent a lot of time developing this concept, and a lot of time formulating the words to describe it the best, so it's important to present it in such a way it's easy for the reader to get into. This applies of course to formulating, but also the font choices. Paragraph text must always prioritize legibility. Always. If a reader struggles even for a bit making out the difference between "H" and "A" it will throw him completely off. Focus will be drawn away from the content you're presenting. Miniscule letters are also more legible than capital letters, so the body font should support lower case characters as the paragraphs should be set in normal case.
Your font choice should depend on what media you're presenting it through. An A4 book has different conditions than a desktop monitor, tablet display, or a five-meter-wide banner. As a rule of thumb, serifs are preferred over sans-serifs as paragraph typeface on printed medias, and sans-serifs are preferred on display monitors. More stylized typefaces find their use primarily in titles. Applying effects on fonts can be risky because it has the potential to mess with legibility.
Paragraphs should be set in a certain way to ease the flow of reading. A rule of thumb is 60-75 characters per line for single columns of body text. Medium size and reasonable leading is preferred. Shorter messages and quick notes can use smaller length and less leading. Text justification can be used for a very clean and tidy look, left aligned text can be friendly and casual.
Good luck with your finals, you've got some amazing work to show off!

Aye thanks for the critique!
I know i couldv put more effort into making the text more readable, specially since i come from a graphic design background. I was fuckin rushing this assignment towards the end and i guess iy shows the most in the text..
none of this is an excuse tho.. ill probably find some time to fix it :)

I think that a design of a "gangsta cat" could make good use of vanity items. Perhaps puns on brand names. Patterns and stripes can easily be replaced by tattoos. Claw weapons or blinged up claws even? Consider dime bags of catnip.
While body types give an idea of what someone's specialty is, posture gives a clear example of someone's behavior and capabilities. A quick example of a much lower stalking stance would show that this hulking kitty can still be agile.
Dogs are the stereotypical natural enemy of our feline friends. Consider items that could help them fight against their foe. Night-vision goggles, tactical laser pointers, yarn.
