I hope when he comes back he's the ultra evil beast from the comics.
It wasn't Rick who killed him in the comics, and obviously they are not following the comics canon very closely.

It just didn't feel like a... season finale.
Maybe the Governor, Martinez, and the black guy will become like The Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady.
Always coming up with hairbrained schemes to to destroy the prison group, only to be foiled every time.

He didn't seem very happy about the Woodbury people joining them.
I was saying to my significant other. "I wish Rick would beat his son already, close fisted"

Didn't realize people watched that, but just saw it. That's a bit odd.

I have to say, that was probably the most anticlimatic season finale I've ever seen. I cannot for the life of me figure out why Martinez and Shupert didn't kill the Governor after he gunned down half the population of Woodbury in one go. He's made it clear to everyone that he's a psycho, there's no dancing around it anymore, they'd be better off without him. The whole scenario also left nobody with any real authority in Woodbury, and I find if rather implausible that the remaining citizens would go along to the prison with the "terrorists" based on the word of the one witness to the Governor's massacre. I am a bit depressed about Milton, I liked him. Andrea is meh, she isn't nearly as likeable as her comic counterpart, and Carol on the show is becoming more and more like Andrea from the comics, much like Hershel has taken the place of Dale (even up to the missing leg.)
All that said, I still look forward to season 4. While the ending of season three was a bit of a letdown, I still have faith in the show as a whole.
LAME. another stupid fucking episode. jesus why can't they get it right? I mean cmon the comics are waaay better and that reminds me I go to go to the Comic shop and get my 2 issues of TWD thats in.
Does anyone else find it a little hard to swallow that the soldiers following the Governor would just stand by and watch while he mows down innocent people?

Those two are just the definition of followers.
They can't lead, only follow.
To all the people going "Why would Rick take on all the Woodbury people? He never takes strangers in. character inconsistency!"
Learn to read between the lines people.
He did it for Carl. Rick saw that Carl was losing his humanity, and he had to change himself in order to try and make it right.
I figured it out on my first viewing.

He'll grow a little emo fringe instead of an eye-patch

And he'd eventully die on Valentine's day from a bullet to the heart with the sole purpose of calling the episode "Bullet for my Valentine".

No I actually like him. His character is fair enough. He doesn't have a life time of being a cop or being a devout Christian like Rick and Herschell. No, he's spend the last vast portion of his life seeing that not firing first leads to getting fucked up. He's right to not trust anyone and turn out jaded. It's sad but true.
They aren't even trying to hide the fact anymore. It has been one of the shows greatest weaknesses.
I am glad they didn't lose the prison so quickly, what made that so devastating in the comics is that they had control of it for so long, then lost so much and were scattered and weak. Would have been a real "meh" moment if they were there for just the one season.
I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.

No it doesn't make fucking sense, because how the fuck are you going to feed 24+ people when you were already struggling to support the population you had?
Way to blow passed the sarcasm yert.

In Carls defence that guy was not letting go of the gun. He was keeping it in his hand and it could have gone either way.
I'm disappointed that the Governor never used all that surgical equipment and stuff he planned to torture Michonne with. I thought he might use it on Andrea.
It's like AMC is just afraid to go there.
I'm glad that Tyreese ans Sasha have finally joined the group.
The guy who plays Tyreese brings a real warmth to the character. He seems like such a gentle, decent person, although we have seen a hint at a possible darkside.
I look forward to seeing more of this character.

There is no defense for that, one handed not near the trigger (asthma kid?) had multiple people with guns drawn on him. He had been in full retreat. He had openly surrendered and was slowly handing over his weapon (His body language was submissive and exposed) Carl was then a little shit about it and lied.
