Haven't made markings yet; the eyelids need more work, stuff like that.
Trying out a new way of coloring eyes. I'm liking it.
Comments, etc. Ideas for the other parts?

Picture looks pretty good so far.

The eye looks good and the fur looks good, but together, the detail and contrast put into the eye dull out the fur. I'd recommend adding more contrast/shadows to the fur to help the eye fit in more.
Lookin' good :)

Yeah, I see what you mean. I am kinda pulled in two directions though, because the main focus is the eyes. That is the line of the poem that it is focused on.

Lookin' good :)

Thanks.

Maybe a little more crisp highlight on the eye. Places that look "Wet" tend to be more glossy
BTW I commented on your new blog :3

Weird. I responded to you guys, but it didn't show up. Idk.
At the time of that post, about an hour, maybe 2.
Thanks, and I responded to your comment.

@ Jonny and Fifty: Thanks!

Finished. About 4 hours of work total. Only a ton of more pictures to go (Woo.)
All of this attention recently is very much appreciated!

WIP
need to add a background. and touchups
I am thinking of removing the lineart for the final product, since it does look nice, but for now, just gonna keep it there.
I did use some refs btw.

If you're gonna paint without lines, it is vital that you learn to use a more diverse color palette, otherwise, it all seems unnatural, kind of like a badly done airbrush.

Also foreshortening. Learn it.

Thanks. I messed with the contrast, I think it looks better now. But I see what you mean, and I will try to improve on that in the future.

"What immortal hand or eye"
Tis an eyeball.

It looks pretty good, love the detail on the fur! However the black fur kinda bugs me. I don't know, it doesn't look very "natural". Maybe you rushed it? Sorry if you didn't.
The tiger looks nice too, I like it better without the lines, it has a slightly different feeling.
Pretty good!

The tiger eye comes across looking more natural than this one.
Also, if you're going to go to all the trouble of the hair detail in the eyebrow, either have no outline on it at all, or an extremely thin outline, or it will take away from the detail.

Yeah, you are right. I kinda rushed this one, and the one with the hammer in the hand, and pretty much every one that I will be posting in the next hour.

Speaking of that hammer picture, I just realized how much it absolutely sucks. The way he is holding the hammer is stupid and impossible. Sigh.

Anyways, I like drawing hands.

I hate textures. I never use them, and I don't plan to. I think they make art look stupid >:(

Oh, I disagree, they can give a drawing a pretty nice effect if you know how to use them. Maybe you're just not using them right...
I wonder what will you make (I mean the cartoon).

I don't mean when I use them (although thats true too), I mean in general.

The one people like the most will be my submission for the Friday Flood.
Also, sorry for being dark, had to fuck with contrast since it was originally almost completely white... damn scanner.

Well I like how some pictures look with textures, but those are just opinions I guess.

My favorite is the second one :D though I've never been on stickam.
I like the third one too. I thought the chicken leg was it's belly before looking at the description. But yeah, I like the second one the most.
Don't know how could you improve it, looks pretty cool to me considering it's just a sketch.
