My mom is sick of me hogging her mac to play whatever valve has released for it recently and she was wanting to get a new laptop anyway so she is gonna get a windows computer. I was like "Sweet, Assassins Creed and Gmod without having to wait for an unspecified time!"
I cant remember if it was this or this she was going to get.
Will I be able to run any games on these?

could probably only be used for things like word processing and surfing the net, because it is a netbook; it might be able to run WoW at minimum settings at 30 fps, idk, but theres no way in hell it could run assassins creed.
The second link is more likely to play games, but not the higher end ones like Assassins creed. you could probably run half life 2 or Gmod though

Just looking at the prices, there's no way it'll run much of anything. $300 laptops are really only meant for very simple applications.

Well if the second laptop has an Intel GMA4500M intergrated graphics chip. Then it will play Gmod decently at low graphics. Because mines can. I don't know if it will though because i couldn't find any specifications on the page.

I just realized that this didn't make much sence so here we go again. What i was trying to say was is that i don't know if the laptop has the graphics chip because i couldn't find any specifications on that page.
My moms gonna screw me over. Ill be able to play my source games at low graphics and I wont even be able to play GTA4 that I bought for fucking $50! I have to run it on low settings on the mac mini.
