THE DRAMA!!! My god, this match is rivalling last night's game for it, missed penalties on both sides now, somehow it's still 0-0.

Now Paraguay DESERVES to win this. Fuck Spain
Assuming all the lvl 1 accounts with the same sig is the same person, you're a better jinx then Tyldsley could ever aspire to be, tell me who you think will progress so I can bet on the opposite and become a rich man :P
Oh, they cancelled it?However Spain should've gotten another penalty, the goalie grabbed the attacker's legs..
Anyway, this was a sudden explosion of "wtf"...

THAT SAID YOUR RECORD ISN'T SO FANCY EITHER MR BRAZIL WIN WORLD CUP HIGUAIN GOLDEN BOOT
Oh my god. I'd thought I'd seen it all when Holland beat Brazil, then when Ghana missed that extra time penalty to go on and lose penalties, THEN when Germany slaghtered the Argies, and now this?!
These quater finals are just fucking fantastic.
I thought Alonso would put it away again but you can't blame him after that, it's always hard to score like that just as you took and scored one a few seconds before.

That said he does have a 1:1 shots on target:goal ratio.

Yeah, Paraguay defintely didn't bend over, on the contrary they stood up and fought back with excellent results so far.

And not forgetting the beating the Germs gave the Argies. He got the one sided game wrong.
This has been an incredible match. I really hope it goes to penalties.
Ah, Spanish goal. Some good play between Iniesta (I think?) and Villa, and at first it hit the post! They're one up though, and I don't see Paraguay coming back. They play well, but they lack a really effective piercing attack. Still seven and a bit minutes left. I suppose there's still time!
At least a Spanish player got booted in the face. I'm happy.
I'm rooting for Holland so I hope Spain goes through and beats Germany, Germany are a major threat. They've just got to hang on a little longer.
Spain won..but they only have Casillias to thank for his three goal-denying saves.
However if Spain plays like that against Germany, well...

Spain can't beat Germany.
I like seeing players of both sides get-together at the ned of a game. There have been far too many games in this tournament where players just haven't saluted each other at the end, and it seems cold, as if every single player is as egocentric as we generally think. Cardozo's in tears, I feel for him. The whole team were trying, but it was his penalty he missed. Too bad guys - they have determination, I'll say.
Also, it helps when Spanish players are wearing those black vests that look as though they rushed into the stadium from a Take That tribute concert and didn't have time to change properly. Of course, ladies?
If Parauguay had Cabañas, his starting striker, things would have been different.
In case you didn't know, he got shot in the head in January, here in México. I know, our country is in a pretty shitty situation...
He is probably as good as Villa imho.
Anyways, Paraguay was good, but Spain is just a great team. They have players whoi can score any minute.

If both sides play like they played all tournament Spain doesn't stand a single chance if you ask me. I'm surprised they even made it as far as the semi-finals.
So the most probable final is Holland against Germany, but you never know what could happen...
Oh, by the way, the first penalty (the one being caught by Casillias) was to be repeated as well since there were only players from Spain in the penalty area during and after the penalty..
Once again the refereeing was very poor, with one penalty not being conceded and another one not being cancelled (and a myriad of minor mistakes).

Nah, it was a harsh decision, but I think it was right. Saying: "He isn't offisde until he touches the ball." wouldn't be enough.
The defence is irritated adn the goalkeeper as well, so the player who's offisde can cause a lot of trouble even though he doesn't touch the ball.
Anyway, Spain didn't play well but overall the victory was deserved.

France, Italy and England are all out. That's why this World Cup kicks so much ass.
