funny story for you here, well not "haha" funny but you get me..
my mate was playing a pokemon red rom on his laptop the other day and my brother has also been playing pokemon pearl on the ds, so it got me thinking how great these games were. So me and my mate decided we would take our old game boy colors into school and play for a laugh.
Then all of a sudden we get to school and another about 8 people come up to us playing pokemon red, blue or yellow with a gameboy color and we were all as shocked as each other.
Now i think that this could be a result of a new marketing campaign that Nintendo have released on tv for the new launch of pokemon heart gold and soul silver in which they show a kid holding a gameboy colour in one scene, could this advert hold some sort of subliminal message? bearing in mind no one has ever brought in a gameboy color to school tomorrow and there are now approx 100 kids going around school with them ranging from years 7 to 11 I also hear it has come back into fashion at primary schools and i have word from a secondary school up in Newcastle that the same weird thing has happened there simultaneously!
Coincidence - i think not!
