Now all we need is other members from the Stoner Club and The Anime Club, and the two of us can focus on uniting the two IRL, using the power of love, friendship and New Jersey.

The only other member of the stoners club that lives in nj is buddhist.

Sounds beautiful.

Newgrounds really needs to get it's ass in Jersey. As an incentive, perhaps one of the activities we'll engage in can be killing the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore.

Since I live in NJ I might give it a shot. I need to look more at the details though.

ALSO
will someone please, PLEASE tell me the joke about hating New Jersey. I can take a joke.... BUT WHAT IS THE JOKE?

People just jump on the Anti-NJ bandwagon because they've heard all kinds of "New Jersey is Gay, tlamlsfsf" jokes and just regurgitate them. That and the imbecilic "Reality TV" viewers who actually think due to something being "reality TV" it must be accurate in that what it is trying to depict.
I will say, however, us New Jerseyans are a strange breed, but in a good way.

Agreed we are. And the cast of the jersey shore doesn't even live in jersey. only like 1 or 2 of them do. The rest are from long island. =/

I'm pretty pissed so many people are ignoring this meet-up, I'm guessing it's simply because we're meeting up in Jersey.
At this rate it'll be around 5 people.
Still, we must not give up, Steve Irwin wouldn't.

There's a bunch of people who are most likely going to come that aren't posting in this thread. I assure you.

plus it's quite a bit aways.

But I agree that people may not see Jersey in the right light.

Just so it's blatantly obvious, if there is a large turnout or not I will be there and I know a few people in the area will be, too. So regardless of how puny this thread looks, ya'll should help me get the word out, this is still going to happen.

Yeah, I'm up for it no matter what, even if it'll only be 3 or 4 people (which hopefully we'll pull in more than just that,) I'll be there.

Okay so I've decided that there will be no third day, the 18th. because there is no need, and it doesn't seem like there's a large demand, and also because warped tour is the 18th and i leave bright and early to sit there and meet bands for 5 hours until the shows start.

ive been going since 04. im not gonna stop now for the third day of a meet.

so it's just the 16-17 people :) if there's a large demand

even though there doesn't seem to be

i could even show up the 15th to bum around with whoeever wants to come early because some people don't see it fit to come for only 2 days. so 15-17 or 16-17. lemme know ill be there

Random bump for justice. Again, however small this may be--there will obviously be people there.

I'm workin on some others

I'm always confused by these "meet-up" threads. Aren't most of you guys young teenagers? (Do you get your parents to take you there?) And aren't the rest of you at least slightly creeped out by the thought of meeting up with strangers from Newgrounds in real life? What do you actually do together when you meet up?

I'm from New Jersey, and I think it's kind of cool that this is being organized in my area, but I can't imagine ever going to one of these things.

Let me elaborate

Aren't most of you guys young teenagers? (Do you get your parents to take you there?)

nope i'm 20. i drive. the rest of the people bus or plane or w/e.

And aren't the rest of you at least slightly creeped out by the thought of meeting up with strangers from Newgrounds in real life?

not at all, when I went to the NYC meetup we had a lot of fun

What do you actually do together when you meet up?

we went bowling and to the sex museum and to a sweet kareoke place. it was all good fun. you can read more about that and other meets on their respected hubpages

I'm from New Jersey, and I think it's kind of cool that this is being organized in my area, but I can't imagine ever going to one of these things.

it's fun you should go. i mean it's probably more fun to go to the bigger ones, like nyc was, I think we had somewhere near 40 people--but this one isn't going to bad or anything.

we don't bite.

How often in real life do you meet new people? It's the same really, only we're all a bit more aware of each other from being on this website. I see nothing at all creepy about a meet-up. You should consider coming, you're another long time member of the site.

Yup! Baron's right, we'd love for you, and anyone else to come. It's really not awkward unless you let it be, it's just like meeting a friend of a friend that you had been talked to about. You know about them, sure, but you've never hung out with them..it doesn't mean it's strange though. It's really a lot of fun.

All right...

I really think I will be able to make it to this for 1, or maybe 2 nights. I just need a room cost estimate before I make a final decision, and I'd also like to know who is open to rooming with me.

We'd love to have you, Gory--and I think I'd pay to see you swim. The links I provided on the second page are very helpful because the costs TOTALLY range depending on your style of living--and I recall you saying you don't mind hostels or the streets lol so I'm sure the cheapest will do for you.

Just a reminder to all under 21 yearolds, that you need a 21 yearold to book the room, checkin, and checkout.

But we're meeting in NJ, not Staten Island!

people in NJ can't afford Ed Hardy.

Since this picture has been used twice already, I've decided to make it more fitting.
Featuring Tom, Wade, Luis, and Mike "The Situation"

poorly done and rushed, but still lulzy.
