Welcome to the 24 Hours Challenge #2!
This is the signups thread to the actual challenge, which will be held this weekend. The signups will be held until the 12th of this month (we're in February ><). If you want to join, just say so in this thread and make sure that you are free of plans this weekend. The chall-
Wait, uncle Coreman! What the hell are you talking about?
Well, this is a challe-
UNCLE COREMAN! WE WANT IMMEDIATE ANSWERS!
Patience, children. This is a challenge whose point is to have fun and help you find new licks, riffs, chord progressions, etc. The gist of this is basically - once the festives are opened, you have 24 hours to start a new project from scratch, finish it, upload it, and post it. After the challenge is closed, me and 4 more judges (Me, Oryon, loansindi, LogicalDefiance & mystery-moon-pie-aud) will judge all of the songs, and the winner will be promoted heavily in all possible ways (we will sell ourselves to promote you and your song).
But uncle Coreman! *various complaints*
- "This is just a speed contest, and speed contests are dumb!" - This is a challenge FOR FUN, not a contest. And if you work from scratch, and have a deadline, you might get those creative juices flowin' and get a really good thing out of it.
- "How can I know that people won't cheat and pick up a WIP instead of starting from scratch?" - I trust the NewGrounds' citizens' honor. If you are such a loser that you actually pick up a WIP to win this contest instead of starting from scratch... Just press Alt+F4. Seriously, don't ruin it for the rest of us. ALSO - if we somehow discover that you cheated or smartassed your way around the rules, you will be banned from the challenge and any further projects that I will open - and I'm gonna open a lot.
- "This is really hard... Haven't slept... uhg *passes out*" - Don't do that! It's just for fun. Don't take it too seriously.
If you have any other questions, rants, complaints and just thoughts post them in the thread or PM me, keep them on topic though!
Alright, enough talking! Sign up now! Let's make some music!
