That's incredible. I wonder if they'll grow up and argue about who was born in the superior decade.

It's not a new decade until 2011.

Yeah, the other way is not really regarded as correct anymore.

I was the only one in class that knew this when our teacher asked us "how can twins be borned in two seperate decades".
The twins are in intensive care because they were born about 10 weeks early. Doctors say they'll get to go home in about eight weeks.
I'm wondering if they'll even survive.
That's awesome if you think about it.

The rest of your class is a little slow, huh?
I have to wonder if there were any twins born between December 31, 1999 and January 1, 2000 though.

"Identical twins born in separate Millenia" has more of a ring to it, no?

Yes it is, 2001 was not the new millennium, 2000 was. Same with 2010 being the start of a new decade.
Don't be STOOPID!
Loooooooooooooooooong time in labor.
Strawberry clock does not approve of years or decades
How are they identical twins when they, clearly, look nothing like one another?
We won't really know which decade was superior until this coming decade is over. No use worrying about it now. Doubtless these twins will have plenty problems of their own to deal with from the hangovers of this last decade that it'll be plenty hard to sort out good and bad in each respective decade.

You just gotta wipe all the placenta and blood off.
Thats awesome. At least they get separate birthdays. :D

In fact, 2001 WAS the new millennium and 2011 is the beginning of the new decade.
2010 is the final year of the decade.

technically you're wrong... it goes from 00-09, 10-19, and so on

Well either way they still were born in different years

If they didn't survive that would render this topic useless, wouldn't it?
I guess it doesn't matter but I say that 2010 will probably be more superior because a lot of shit happened last year

Amazing, so pompous and yet so wrong.

There was no year zero!!
It went, 3 BC ,2 BC , 1 BC , 1 AD.

new_decade_start
This is not difficult.
Meh. I thought you meant that one was born 10 years later. Not some technical shit.

lol wut.
Does anybody even read these?
It's not that exciting. It's just the number of times a rock has revolved around the sun, based on basically jackshit. When's a year end and begin? When we say it does. When's a decade end and begin? When we say it does. It's all meaningless...

Somehow I thought the same.
To all you guys who say this is the new decade, that's wrong.
Think. First year of the C.E. Calender was 1.
Ther was no year 0.
First decade was 01-10.
Next was 11-20.
Next was 21-30.
So on and so forth.
This looks froody.
