Well I've said it and I've heared people say it when joking around, not just in normal conversation. I sometimes almost blurt it out because I use it so much when talking to people online, its almost a habit when I see or hear something funny.
Oh god. You thing that's something??? There is this guy in my computer class, really big nerd. I don't mind him, but every once and a while he'll say "That makes me loul" and he says with a ll sound at the end. Was the most weirdest and tragic events in my life, ever. I honestly thought I died a little when he said it.
I say it out loud to piss people off who flip out over it. It's not a part of my regular vocabulary.

Yeah, Internet speak in real life is irritating. I've heard a few, "WTF??" comments in my day, as well as lol and lmao and stuff. If kids these days are too lazy to say three words and have to abbreviate everything, well, I guess that's just sad.

i say "rofl" and "cba" on a day-to-day basis.
I dunno really. I sort of like them. No one else says them, unless I say them in college, then it'll get repeated for a few days.
It also angers me to hear people say "lol", but there isn't much you can do about it.
