everything has a good and bad consequence. Sure, flame wars are constant but so are good video/news/music submissions. As in, the ratio for good to bad stays at a steady 1:1

And how are we devolving? compaired to what time in history? the medieval ages? Id say we've progressed as a species. Its in our hardwiring to fight and be competative, which is why we tend to be successful. its a necesity for mankind to progress.

Also, im not sure its entirely fair to judge the human race as a whole when dealing with bad happenings. It could be total coincidence.
