Well if it got on there, that means you had 20+ votes, and your score was the 6th highest of all submissions with 20+ votes at that time. That's all there really is to it.

Their both short and sloppy. Pretty sure Bryce is an alt of Splatters, and both songs got proxy voted up. :( Or atleast I take getting 30 votes in a couple minutes likely the result of proxy voting.

I think I liked #4 the most. Even with its overly-action-packed drums and weird outro, that remix is one of the best Chrono Trigger remixes I've ever heard. The rest are actually quite good too. #3 was cool, even though it had some very weird transitions and random additions (such as that really strange tempo change at the end) and the sound effects weren't that well timed. I'd say from my order of preference it'd be #4, #3, #5, #2 and last being #1. The top 5 is muddled up...

Also, it's come to my attention the the top 5 has nothing to do with score, that's the top 30.
The top 5 goes by popularity = downloads / time.
I found this out by accident when linking external links to the download page of my song (http://newgrounds.com/audio/download/ID _number) and got first in top 5 of the week. The rule of 20 votes still applies. So maybe he was also proxy downloading?

I was a bit disapointed myself, I had a song scored at 4.33 I felt confident about getting weekly with. I'm not crushed that it didn't but proxy voting tomfoolery is a bit much.

Voice acting at #1, which tends to happen every now and then. At least this time it's not some prank call or something that isn't actually voice acting. Congrats FKWAJ.
At #2, a nice classical piece (or at least that's what I would classify it as) by gravey. I like it.
At #3, Very nice sounding track for a first in Reason. As always, Bjra seems to know what he's doing.
#4 feels kind of badly produced to me. Mixing could be a lot better, sounds very rough overall to me.
Added to that, I'm pretty sure that a capella is under copyright. =/
#5 Seems to be very nicely put together olskool hiphop track. Liking it.
