You'll only get better at it, provided your kit stays working. Mine fell apart too but while it was working I could nail a good 80% of the parts of Obfuscation, All Bodies, Alaska and nearly all of Selkies. Mordecai is a bit trickier with the beginning and the toms section, but the rest of it was a lot of fun. You'll get it in time.

I'm still clinging onto life, I see. I haven't had a whole lot of time to Xbox lately.

Finally started Borderlands 2 so I've been playing that a lot lately. Got 450G so far and I'm having a blast playing it, even on my own (I have no friends). It's improved a lot from the first and definitely feels a lot less boring.

Got Tomb Raider from the Redbox machine.

It's a total blast I enjoyed every minute, I'll have to borrow my friends copy, the disc was scratched though and only played after I barely got it to install, so I rung up Redbox to let them know. They gave me a free game code to reimburse me for Tomb Raider (Which I had actually gotten with a free rental code) and then an extra as an apology.

So I got to play Tomb Raider, and get 2 more free rentals. Victory.

1000/1000 on Dark Souls last night.

I am the fucking best.

Woohoo, decided to finish off a first playthrough in Borderlands 2 so I have that to thank. That and the incredibly glitchy and frustrating first episode of The Tyranny in AC3.

Also, I just noticed I have one fill and four beats to go in the Rock Band 3 Pro Drums Trainer today, I'm going to try and finish off those, even though disco and tribal beats are my worst nightmare D:

Finally, after 1 and a half years, got the full original 1000g from Skyrim. Now I can't decide whether to buy all the dlcs individually or wait and see of the goty is going to be released at a reasonable price.

Also tempted to buy Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen because it's cheaper than the original game and apparently comes with the original game and the new DLC.

Just seen that Amazon/Shopto are putting the console versions at around £30 and the PC between £22 and £26 which are pretty good prices when compared to the rrp of £40 and £30 respectively.

Did you have the game installed to the HDD? I do, yet my Xbox still reads info from the disc for some reason and it sounds like the console will self-destruct or my disc will snap, or something.

No not at the time, I knew that would work though. Last time this happened with GTA I borrowed a friend's copy and installed it to the HDD then used my broken copy. Unfortunately I don't know many people that I see often that have the game. I'll figure something out though

It's May now and it feels weird. I've been off Xbox for well over a month now I think and I've also been without a room for about 3 weeks. Haven't worked in over a month too, but I'm still making money (you don't need to know how. shh..). Living on this couch up here really blows, and you know what else blows? Having major plot points in the GoT series ruined for you. I was explaining the basics of the series to a friend and a couple times when I brought up characters this other fuckface would just chime in with, "yeah, (s)he doesn't last long", or "and his/her whole family is basically dead now". His brother read the books and told him all this so I guess he felt obligated to share his knowledge. A lot of this stuff doesn't happen until ADWD, so I'm all sad now.

I was talking about GoT with some guy at college and I didn't know he'd read all the books so far. So I asked him who his favourite character was and he said "[character name] until they get killed". He said how they got killed but I won't even reveal that bit to you. It was a v important character too. He just assumed that I had read all the books like the bastard he is. Spoilers make me so angry...

Oh also it turns out my friend at college has Borderlands 2 and he's letting me borrow it to install to my HDD tomorrow, so that's a relief. For now I don't know what to do.

@Makeshift, I forgot about your whole water damage scenario. Any idea how much longer you have to wait before things start to get back to normal?

The thought of not having my room is just weird. I know it's just one room of a house, but this room pretty much is my house. If I didn't have it, I wouldn't know where to spend my time or what to do.

On the topic of playing Xbox though, I've still not really been playing Xbox much for what feels like the past year now. I've started a few games but don't ever seem to finish them. Like I was playing through LA Noire again until exams crept up on me. I was previously playing Tales of Vesperia until coursework crept up on me. Thankfully Friday is my last day of uni so I might be able to do some gaming but having said that, I'll probably be looking for jobs. And if I were to find one, I can imagine then I'd have to move to the city. Busy times.

The insurance company hasn't let us know when things will get done. We've had people show up twice in these past three weeks and there's still quite a bit to do. I still need a floor and the bottom half of my walls. I've got my PC set up in my living room and I'm basically doing what I would in my room, but with added noise from my family and less comfort. It's poopy, but not the end of the world or anything.

Seems like hardly anyone around here is playing much Xbox lately. I don't think I'll get back on until September for GTA.

Yeah I remember watching it about a year ago just out of the blue without knowing what it was and I loved it.

Also got the second book in ASOIAF so I have something else to do.

Finally picked up a new game in Bioshock Infinite. Haven't played much of it yet but it seems to be quite the enjoyable experience it's billed as. Never played Bioshock 2, but the atmosphere of this one is just as intriguing as the original.
