pretty much, i want to see who loves what. and i'm sick and tired of xbox360 fanboys, they dont realize they pay so much monthly, so much for internet adapter, how little features it has. ps3 is the way to go, free internet, blu-ray, everything!

SNES is my absoloute favorite. So many wonderful gems, so much memories. So much nostalgia. I absolutley love it.
PSN ID: DMANSLAND, Wii number: too lazy to look up, Manliness level: GODLY
Personally, it as the N64. T'was my first proper console, and I saved up for it, AU$2 a week, when I was 8 years old. It took me an entire year to save up enough, but when I got it, and played Super Mario 64 for the first time on my brand new N64, it was one of the best feelings ever.
/nostalgia
PS2. Had a huge collection of games and third party support compared to the original X-Box and Gamecube, it had a huge lifespan, and it was very reliable.
Plus, you gotta love that sexy design.
Currently I own a 360, simply because it's cheaper than a PS3, and because PS3 was losing a lot of it's exclusives to the 360 near the start of the current gen of consoles. Also, supposedly, a lot of multiplatform games are somewhat buggier on the PS3.
My favorite console of all time is the PS2. However, I own a 360 now. The OP's comments about the 360 could cause a flame war.... just sayin'.

Each time someone says this I get closer to creating a device that allows me to choke someone through the internet.
On topic though, my favourite's probably the PS2. I never get bored of Canis Canem Edit (Bully for the yanks) or GTA Vice City. I also loved Soul Calibur 3 to death, but then I lost it.
Another reason why I want to choke someone.
Does PC count as a console?
I'd say Nintendo 64 for some nice classics. I won't say PS2, I had a Gamecube instead for Nintendo games and for everything else I used a PC.
I got more fun out of my PS2 than any other console

You get what you pay for, stop being a fanboy.
Personally, n64 is still my all time fav. Out of this gen, the PS3, mostly for the blu-ray, Uncharted 1 &2, MGS4, and a couple other things. 360 is fine, MS just needs to fix a couple things before I think about buyng one:
Fix 50% failure rate.
Put the wireless adapter at a reasonable price.
Besides that, there are not many exclusive games for 360 that I can't get on pc. (That I want to play)
If you like the 360, more power to you, please don't start flaming because I have a different opinion.
Hmmm?

That's real clever, but you haven't actually answered the question.

It's not really a thread worth responding to legitimately. This type of thread has been done multiple times before and the original poster is obviously extremely biased. Not something I want to put thought into.
This is the most biased, shit thread ever.
I know its your first one but every single day approximately 500,000 unique visitors come through Newgrounds, there are thousands that have accounts set up.
With all of those people do you REALLY think that you were the first to make this thread?
Next time, use the search bar.
Xbox 360 seems cheap but there is about 150 dollars more worth of addons which is dumb and for the ps3 you can get those addons for a good price so the ps3 is better than the 360 in fact.
The only thing with the 360 online is paid for so that means better online, but I am happy with the free online service of the ps3 and for that fact I think the ps3 is better

Yes, but the problem is that you answered the wrong thread. Your answer was appropriate to any thread that asked "which console is the best?"
Instead your answer amounted to no more than "I'm not going to tell you my favourite console, but here's why I like it".
Anything before the jump to 3D. Games then > games now. All I see released anymore is unappealing minigame collections with no interesting story or goal for the Wii (we really should have moved past that sort of game after the release of the NES), and brown-and-gray shooters for 360 and PS3. Well, other than Nintendo's own Wii games, but even they're somewhat lacking compared to, say, Super Mario World. Or maybe the first generation of 3D was OK: there were still good games on the original Playstation, and Ocarina of Time for N64 is still near the top of the "Best game ever" list.
Actually, scratch it all, I'm still an arcade man. The games may have come home, and all the world may have changed, but even though I was born in 1989 my life began in an arcade in 1996, and that's where my heart still is.

COMPLETELY AGREE. Ps3 is the way to go. 360 is good to though if you dont have enough money for the ps3, however it has flaws. The old models break down, and the monthly fee is pricy, and thats about it. Wii fuking sucks in my oppinion, straight out boredomn. So bassically yeah, i love sony. And my fave old console is super nintendo.
I wanted to burn some calories so I set a fat kid on fire.
Mega Drive, just because of Desert / Jungle / Urban Strike.
Modern day platform is PC.

Will you ever shut up and stop saying this?
It's $50 a year, get over it.
OP, $4 a month is 'so much' money? $4 a month is hell of a good deal since you get free Netflix Instant play, and yes, we don't need a stupid disc to use it. Last.fm is now available, at least if your on the preview. There are so many other features I can't even remember them all. Also, don't play the fanboy card because I have a PS3. If you don't believe me, add me on PSN: slosha69.
the Wii i can play all the games i want on the wii and all my old ones on the gamecube and i can even buy the old ones on the nes-n64 that i wound up missing out on(though i did not miss many really all ive bought is kirby 64 and star fox 64)

This could quite possibly be the best answer I have ever heard amidst a console war. You win a cookie :D

And that's 50$ too much: it's retarded that you have to pay for playing your games online
