Now it's 60$ a year? No way I could keep up those payments.Really? An extra 83 cents a month is the difference between being able or not? That's just sad... you must only get exactly $50 in a year.
thats not the point dude. The whole fact that they'er raising the price for no apperent reason is just plain wrong. Forget the fact that you have to pay to play which is bullshit, you saying "it's only 83cents" is exactly why microsofts gunna get away with it. Whats to stop them from upping the price every year like its a fucking interest. This also gives the current subscribers no choice but to pay the extra 10$ just to keep the features they love (like online play). What are they getting for their 10 dollars? Microsofts saying "hey look we added all this stuff that you probably didn't use a while back, so we need to up to price without your permission".
Sony who have done a fabulous job at upgrading the service of psn still charges nothing, and solely makes their money from psn off the playstation store, which is completely optional and independent from someone who just wants to play online. The addition of ps plus still doesn't conflict with the current services and is more of a thankyou for paying heres a ton of free stuff we want you to have so it wont be in vain. You can literally determine if you got what you payed for and then some.
Honestly is Live's subscription service really worth it for a guy that just wants to play online? Fuck no. Last time i checked the internet was free, and the last company who tried to make a subscription service for the internet(yeah it existed kiddies... pay to browse the internet existed!), went belly up!!!! Microsoft tries to hide their subscription service by saying "we have features" but it doesnt give a normal human being who doesnt want all that shit (which is still free on the internet too!!!) a choice. You want to play online, you must pay.
What I'm trying to say is yes, 83 fucking cents is a big fucking deal...
