Got to love the NFL. Preach about player safety this and that, but never miss an opportunity to exploit its player to shovel its product.

i'm one of the biggest eli defenders in the world but his ceiling is way below where vick is at right now, and he's not going to improve a great deal anyway. guy is already the wrong side of 30, while qb's can obv last a fair bit longer than other positions they don't suddenly become megaelite if they aren't already. tbqh i'd take romo ahead of him as well

Some bold picks there o_o
The big afternoon match up would have to be the OK State at Texas A&M. It'll be interesting to see if the Aggie D can stop the Pokes offense. Also, it will be interesting to see if FSU can rebound after their loss and go on the road to face Clemson. And there is the Arkansas at Alabama game as well.
The late games are Mizzou at OU and LSU at West Virginia. I don't think both of them will be much of a game. OU will romp over the Tigers and the Mountaineers aren't going to stop LSU, no matter how hyped up they are with College Game Day being there.
The way late game USC at Arizona State could be interesting to see as well.

Most of the games that are on now are pretty bad and lopsided. It'll get better in the afternoon; although Maryland getting beat up 31-0 at the half by Temple, from the MAC conf, is pretty funny.

My school got raped in their first home game of the season.
I've lost so much faith in them today that it's not even funny.

Even though I expected LSU to win, I didn't really expect them to put a huge can of whoop ass on West Virginia, {this early at least.} in Morgantown no less. I can't really name a team other than Alabama or Oklahoma that could really stop them now, especially when they manhandled 2 highly ranked teams already. Just another example of how the SEC is dominating college football yet again.
And Michigan won easily over SDSU, {just another day at the office} to go 4-0, entering Big Ten play. Of course, they have started fast the last 2 years, and fell apart later in the year, but TBH, I don't really see that happening this time, especially since that defense has massively improved from last year.
And as always, I'm looking forward to Sunday, and for the Bengals to go 2-1. {which they should have been 3-0 by now.}
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

There be my picks for week 3. Also, I suggest everyone if they can watch the New England @ Buffalo game. If not, keep an eye on it. That one is more than likely going to be really exciting if Buffalo gets off to a quick start. Though I see NE tightening up on D a bit this week too.
I really wish I could watch the Pats-Bills game but since I live where I live I'm stuck with the Texans-Saints game. But at least I will get to catch the Pack-Bears game, even though it's going to be ugly for da bears if their O-line is soft as they were last week.

Fingers crossed, Rabbits foot in hand, bowl of lucky charms
Let's Go Buffalo!
The Bengals failed to sell enough tickets, so they're entering their 5th straight TV blackout and Fox refuses to show me anything other than the local game at that time slot. So, basically I'm stuck watching the Browns take on Miami. Hopefully that game turns out to be decent.

Well this game is over
Refs want to screw us and apparently even God wants every pass to fall into their hands
Not like i'm surprised, everything goes New England's way every time whether they actually deserve it or not.

This game was over before it even began. Buffalo hasn't really been relevant in the NFL since the early 1990s, lol. New England on the other chance is potentially heading to another Super Bowl.

Well, the Eagles were off to a rough start, but they're back in the game now, down by 4 instead of 14.

Hey Giants defense, if you want to win stop blowing games.

Spoke too soon. They are only down by three now.

Well, at least the Bills D has begun acting like it actually wants to win now

I'm 5-3 with my picks so far. I'd be 7-1 if Buffalo hadn't made a miraculous comeback and if Miami had actually held onto their lead over Cleveland.
Now, let's go Jets!

I know, Torrey Smith and Flacco have been beasting out in this game. Went into the half 27-0 and Ravens get the ball back after the half.
The Bengals loss was inexcuseable. The defense stopped the 49ers offense for most of the game, and yet the offense keeps stalling because Dalton doesn't know when to throw the ball to the right reciever. I don't care if he is a rookie or not, he didn't take advantage of a pathetic San Francisco team by going deep, or at the very least, converting on 3rd down. Watching the game was torturous enough already, but the way it ended was absolutely bullshit.
I must say, Buffalo finally showed up against New England by pulling off that upset, even in a rather anti-climatic situation where they should've went for the TD instead of kneeling and kicking a FG at the end. Now if they can have the same amount of effort they put in for the next 13 games, then they might have a shot at the division, but I really have my doubts that they can keep this up for long, especially with that defense giving up 73 points in 3 games.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
I heard the Jet's kick returner is auditioning for a Butterfingers commercial. I'm sure he'll get the role judging by the way he played today.
