They claimed it was not preplanned that it "just happened" and that her clothes "just broke away." Well if that is true, then why was Justin's hand over her breast in the first place and why was he yanking at the fabric at all? He didn't just accidentally brush up against her breast and you can clearly seeing him pulling the fabric off with force.

What I thought was weird was they had a camera in front of Janet's two other brothers and one of them ( I think it was Tito) goes to the camera "Janet looks real good out there." And I was like ewww...so that is how it is in their family.

Also, those who work for TIVO said that was the highest rewinded & played section of any show they have ever had.

Besides that I was on the edge of my seat in amazement of the bumpin' and grindin' Janet and Justin were doing, once the boob popped out I fell out of my chair and couldn't control the laughter. Funny shit seeing a boob on CBS....Naughty Naughty Justin....

I've heard plenty of conflicting stuff, and of course CBS, MTV, and Justin Timberlake all said "Accident, unplanned, sorry!" etc. etc. on Sunday night... but Monday night I heard what is probably the closest to the truth, quoted from Janet Jackson.

Apparently they'd decided late to add the grab and pull with the naked line in the lyrics, and she had the garment adjusted for the breast cup to be easily removable...

BUT, if you'd noticed her outfit before the incident, it was mostly black leather and metal snaps and studs, but along her bosomline there was lacey red fabric sticking out a bit. APPARENTLY that red fabric was the edge of bra-like cups that WERE SUPPOSED TO STAY ON.

IOW, either JT grabbed too much by accident (or purpose), or the two layers somehow got linked together, and thus removing ONLY the top one didn't work anymore... OR that's just an excuse.

But it's certainly a possibility. And in that case, I hope that the furor dies down a bit, if they can show it really was meant to only show her bra, not her breast, but both came off by accident.

!@#$ it was staged. Justin and Janet did to up stage Britany and Maddona (Can't spell well). Although only they knew, the whole other team (camera, coriograher, etc) didn't. The are now going to be sued by the FCC for their actions.

You can totally tell it was planned. Go back to the pictures Wade posted. You can see unterneath the "teet" you can see the snap buttons that they used to pull it off. Easy access.

I was wondering honestly if Janet was the one who was surprised and Justin had preplanned what he was going to do. Cause Janet did look pissed and she did quickly cover herself up. If that happened to me, I would have punched Justin.

While Justin he just stared and didn't care a 100 million viewers were seeing him oggle her. Like maybe Justin and his crew tampered with Janet's outfit to clearly come off all the way.

I have to say, I'm surprised by the naivete of some on this...Timberlake and Jackson are not going to prison for this, nor is being sued by the FCC going to spell fiery doom for them.

They'll handle it the way every other celebrity does--get ridiculously expensive lawyers to knock any charges down to nothing, throw money at remains of the problem, and milk the remaining publicity for all it's worth.

As far as what _should_ happen to them--I guess I'd be more concerned about swift justice being carried forth if, I don't know, they actually _did_ something we should be concerned about, like kill someone.

Otherwise, I don't give a good goddamn, and it escapes me why anyone feels Jackson and Timberlake need to be soundly punished for adding to a production that was _already_ "crass" and "overly commercial" and so on. I dont think its a big deal at all... you should see whats on some of the public access chanels in california... Colins sleazy friends was one of my favorites as a teenager... whole show was about porn stars who got nude on the show. Public access... same type of channel that brings yah sesame street... Only reason it was a big deal is because of who the people were and what the situation was... sure, 89 million viewers, and im sure atleast 88.5 of those millions were breast fed. people need to get over it.
