Deep Sea Light Leopard
A typically sized predator of the ocean sea bed, the Light Leopard flashes it's tail to attract nearby shrimp. When one approaches the Light Leopard activates it's bioluminescence lights surrounding it's face to produce a focused beam of light to stun prey. It then coils up and uses a spring-like action to torpedeo through the water to bite and eat it's shrimpy victim. Yummies!
Sea Bear. Not really a bear, just resembles one a little.
ARMANDIA
This creature disguises itself to look like a coral by changing its body temperature. The tentacles are sticky and can therefore trap smaller fish and crabs who are seeking shelter.
inspired by a tape worm, its hiding from the rays of light coming from the surface.
Grumblepus...
The Grumblepus lives in the deepest darkest depths of the ocean. Their colossal size makes them the most feared creature of the seas. They use their mammoth tentacles to grab hold of and eat whatever they want with great ease. A Grumblepus could eat 10 blue whales in a day.
The name Grumblepus comes from the resonance they emanate whilst digesting their kill as well as the large tentacles coming out of the top and bottom of the creature resembling those of an octopus. These tentacles can stretch to almost three times the size of it body as well as sense any change in the water. Getting anywhere near this creature in its habit will mean certain death making it almost unfeasible to research.
The Electric Squid
This deep sea squid creates electricity at the tip of it's tentacles to attract prey with the light the electricity generates, and to stun prey when it approaches.
