Nowadays, it goes like this:
A decent movie made by an average author is made and receives a score just a little over 3.00, much of it being upped by savewhores (as we used to call them). A movie with no more effort put in it, yet submitted by a big-name author is put forth and is immediately front paged with a score of at least 4.10.
I'm not saying we should continue to be soft, I'm just saying that some of us animators are being unbeleivably pissed off by these kinds of results. So here's an alternative:
VOTE WHAT YOU THINK THE FLASH DESERVES ALL THE TIME
I rarely give a five to anything on the front page, and yet I consider myself way too soft. To me, a five means it kicks ass. A four means I liked it, but I don't know what this is doing on the front page. A three means a good try, and anything under would be explained in a reveiw.
I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.
Wouldn't it be nice if all the spam crews who 5 everything just went away?

Hell, I vote '0' on 90% of the Under Judgment flash, and 0-bomb everything I see from a crew of any sort.
If we can manage to consistently blam crew flashes, and no new spam gets it's way onto the portal we call home, there will be no more spam crews.
And then there is the flash that actually sucks. Those artists deserve encouragement and help and stuff so they can be the next Egoraptor or whatever.

A higher amount of crappy submissions are being blammed than usual. I've gained forty blams today already, when I usually get no more than thirty with similar voting habits.
