Hey guys. I doubt this warrants a thread until it's got enough discussion/support. Wonder if Chronamut would see this, since he is normally responsible for hosting the Represent a Country contests..... or can he not do that anymore considering what happened to the NACs?

An idea came to my mind about the RAC this year, if it should be held again.... I was thinking something along these lines:

What if, all the songs in this year's RAC borrowed a motif from a children's song from each country? There we'd be 1) using public domain material, 2) asking the participants to come up with something original based on that motif they borrowed, 3) asking them to stick to the influences from the country they're representing.

I don't know, I thought it might be interesting...

I like this idea, and I'd definately participate. Btw it's not Chronamut who goes over the RACs, it's NeonProject. Chronamut does the MACs (or the NACs, I can never tell them apart). NeonProject doean't really frequent this forum so your only chance of him using this idea would be by sending a PM.

...well that sucks. I guess I'm glad I live in a pretty diverse area... there are always messed up people (and lots of them) but I find that if you live in any city with a big university usually there is less of that..generally.

Save it as a wav file, then put it through another audio program and export it as an mp3

back-from-purgatory saves the day again :3

For exporting to upload you'll need your song in mp3 format. I recommend using audacity

it's easy, simple and free :) Just open the .wav in that and export as mp3

(You might need a LAME encoder for exporting mp3 - I can't remember if the new vers. of audacity need it or not. But you should be able to find it for free somewhere and just tell audacity where it is in the preferences > file formats > mp3 export setup)
