When I was interviewed, I was surrounded by large men in fancy suits. I was being interviewed along the side of these men. I watched them go into a large, carpeted room every ten minutes. Finally, my name was called with another guy I had been talking to. I went inside the room and two young ladies started asking us questions. I just smiled, answered truthfully, and always answered first.

I was called back for a 2nd interview later that day. The other guy wasnt. I was invited in another room with two guys. I saw fries on the table. They were from a bar downstairs. I looked them in the eyes and said, "have you had those fries? They are DELICIOUS!" We talked about the bar and other chit chat for about ten minutes. Then they said, "so we heard you make music for a website". I sat and said "i sure do!" Then they asked what my username was. "...FatKidWitAJetPak". They laughed and looked me up. "OH COOL AMBIENT MUSIC". They said after five seconds. Then they looked at me and said "welcome to the company".

Apparently they interviewed thousands for that role.

In conclusion, ambient music and the NG AP always has my back.

Got all that, thats not the issue, the issue is say I try to make a drum beat, im used to doing it in real time, so I press the keys in the rhythm I want and think "Yeah!" try playing it in "record" and end up with a jumble of beats. I then try to space them out, it's too slwo, doesn't even sound like what I tried to do earlier. change the tempo, and well it doesn't sound like what I played earlier, only now it's faster. It just sounds like a group of monotoned notes.
It's not just a problem with famitracker, it's also why I didn't make much progress in FL9 or anything else I used.

Figured out how to lay down notes in real time, better, but I just realized there is no way to space out notes, some are awfully close together. Anyway, real time note laying, better, but still a problem keeping a melody floating without sinking into nonsensical notes again.

Got a swell pair of Sony studio headphones for $20. Satisfied with em' so far. Been needing something new to hear through, my speakers are shit. They make a buzzing noise and what-not, so while I wait for some new speakers, these headphones will work out nice.

Yeah don't worry im smart with my ears, I listen to them at 20% volume.

The cool thing is that Goa never came to the south. Neither did Psytrance. The only electronic influences here are brostep, dubstep, and popstepstepstepstepetystep. You occasionally see some electro and house from the underground scenes, but other than those rare and unfindable opportunities we have nothing. This club I'm DJing at is pretty popular so I have a real chance at introducing some culture to these fine people.
