I met one of my biggest musical influences today, Mr. Nobuo Uematsu. Couldn't exactly get a picture with him (he kinda had a plane to catch), but I did manage to get one of him from decently close. Also got his autograph too.

Man, timestretching in Live is pretty fun. I just took Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs n Harrmony and made it sound like it has death metal vocals, but still the same tonality.

According to the financial model I just finished, I'll be living large(as in debt free + new car + 30k of music gear) in my own place(pretty much anywhere in the USA I want) in 1-3 years. The big range is from audio client inconsistency, but hopefully as time moves on the freelance dynamic will shrink, averaging out to 1.5 to 2 years; Which just so happens to be when my mega-awesome girlfriend gets out of college.

Yesterday was the last day of my introduction week for college so our group decided to do something really sick before going to the last party. One of us went to the sexshop and bought 3 Popper bottles. These bottles are meant for gay people and contain a fluid which causes the anus to widen if you inhale the smell of it.
But that's not why we bought them, because inhaling the smell has a side effect: you start laughing your ass off for no reason. And that's why we bought those bottles, and it's fun as hell to see people die of laughter just because they smelled something that widens the anus. Lol

Also, we drank a pure bottle of tequila. Without any lemon. It's a wonder I didn't puke.
